There is rumor the Steelers are interested in Revis if he is not retained by NE which they have to do as of today a 20 mill option.
This was reported by Mike Francesa of WFAN NY. Coming from him I believe it. Other interested teams are the Jets,Chiefs, Eagles, Atlanta and the Bills. Not that it would happen but it's cool that the Steelers would even be interested. It would cost a kings ransom but it would shut down one side of the field and his playmaking ability is without parallel.

Just saw where NE will not pick up the option on Revis??? One can dream, but we all know that's all it is, is a dream.

NE can still resign him and they are the Super Bowl champs. That is a big selling point. He will want way more money than we are normally willing to pay. The only thing we have going is he is from Aliquippa and may want to return to family. I'm not putting very good odds on this.

If NE doesn't come to an agreement, the Jets will start the auction.

Yeah and when they cut him you'll be complaining about the dead money he costs against the cap.

Pats are not picking up the option, but I'd wager he stays there. Pretty head-scratching comment by Francesa.

He went to NE to get a ring, and the odds of any team going back to back are long ones. And with the money they just dropped on McCourty, I'd say he is New York bound.

Revis has a bad view of Woody up in NY, he thought Rex had his back more when he left the Jets. Buffalo may be the front runner.

It would be awesome, but will not happen. He will likely get $15 million a year somewhere.

I just can't imagine us buying a mercenary like Revis. He will cost too much up front, and then turn on the franchise and demand even more money in 1-2 years.

No way DR signs here. Will want too much and IMO he's starting to age. Although, he'd clearly best we have had here since Woodson

Seems like EVERYTIME this guy is either up for trade or a Free Agent or whatever Pittsburgh is always mentioned. Be it being from the area...or that Tomlin wanted to pick him in the draft years back...it seems the Steelers are always mentioned. I do not see it happening...probably ever...unless by some odd chance he FINALLY says "you know what I've made a ton of money, etc...now I wanna go home and play and just take whatever they'll pay me"...which I do not see happening.

    the end!

How much money will Revis expect ? If we had the money I think we would sign him. To bad Cortez robbed KC at gun point , he should be arrested. Is there not a Lemon law in Pittsburgh ?

I hear the Jets are working on a deal for Revis that would pay him $48 million over three years with $40 million guaranteed.

Bleacher report says steelers did make a call and Inquire about Revis, but obviously his asking price was just way too high. I guess any team would be dumb not to at least see what he wants. But I guess we tried lol
