I think the Steelers will wait before bringing him back, to see how the draft and free agency goes.

For the same reason any of us would, to function better in life.

Doesn't Keisel have a torn bicep? I thought that was the potential career ended.

his bicep surgery was in December........ he recently had the shoulder surgery, which was a surgery that was not really needed to function in life, henceforth, the speculation that he intends to play again next season

Great now we should focus on Quality in the draft. We should be prepared to move up IMO .

For whom? Hope they don't, there is no OMG have to have player worth losing picks over. They dont have an abundance of picks this year, very little coming in way of comp picks.

Trae Waynes, Bud Dupree, Landon Collins , or La'el Collins . None of them might not get close enough.

I bet all 4 of them end up being great players . Well worth a pick you may select a bust with anyway . To me that's worth it . Get skill see if our Coaches can Coach . Can't keep drafting average skill guys and expect greatness.

With your track record, I'll take that bet :lolol:

J/k. Maybe they will be great or maybe there are some busts in there. They have 7 picks this year and maybe 1 late rd comp, I'm not giving up my 2nd and 3rd to draft 1 guy when they need more than that.

We do agree we need more maybe give up a future pick ? 1 thing I think we both don't want is 2 early picks that don't pan out . My track record not to bad esp. saying a UFA would make the NFL off of some internet tape .

He says in the instagram message that he will "start" training in AZ. With all the pics and instagrams he's posting of his workouts, I'd like to see when he takes some time off, lol!

Seriously though, I wonder if he got some affirmation that the Steelers will bring him back. I wouldn't think he would do all the offseason work on a hope and a chance.

Wouldn't doubt it with JJ's struggles. If the Steelers do bring him back, it's further confirmation that the confidence they have in JJ's abilities may be deteriorating.

I can't make that deductive leap. There's currently only one OLB under contract who has any real NFL experience.

Speaking from experience here. If you were going for a bicep repair, having the shoulder surgery is a no brainer since you're essentially taking your arm out of commission anyway and have to endure similar rehab requirements.
