What would our DBs do?

This is just from a hilarious conversation I had with a fellow Steeler fan, however crazy of one he might be is immeasurable.

he tells me, we should've been in the bowl (I agree wishingly) and that we would've played at or above New England's output. He then scuffed the ceiling with this blurt though....

had we been in the same situation, I guarantee you Ike jumps that route and then retires in a glorious fashion.

And he he was maddeningly serious.

so I had to spoil his moment by suggesting that there wasn't enough field left on that play for Ike or anybody else to be that far off of their man, hence they wouldn't know how to respond. Hahahahahahaha

anyhow, happy Monday eve and go Steelers.

James Harrison could have jumped it like he did against the Cardinals in the bowl, but not Ike

OK maybe ike tips it to JH who takes off with it but at his age can't go 99 yards anymore, so he pitches to troy for 10 more yards because he's to old to run that far too, and has to pitch it to gay who takes it the rest of the way. anyway the int. goes back for a TD.

 

If anyone jumped it, it would have been Gay....
