And the bathroom....well that is the only place in the entire north east where one can go and be 110% certain that you will be alone and no one will ever have a video or picture.
Locker room? Possible witnesses or pictures.
    Hallway? Same.
Sidelines? TV camera, fans with cameras, witnesses.
Small bathroom with one stall and a sink? No witnesses, No cameras, TOTAL deniability.

There will never be a witness and never a camera and will only EVER come down to circumstantial he said/she said evidence. Thats why Kraft and BB are so arrogantly brazen with their defense. NO matter what happens, there is no visual evidence and they will always be able to claim innocence.

There's only one explanation. The Patriots' ball boy is none other than Jake the Snake Roberts! :lolol:

There are just SO many jokes that one could make about all this but I'm just gonna digress before I seem really "unbecoming". LOL.

While my secret compartment suggestion was a joke, I do firmly believe that the Pats cheated. Brady was well rehearsed in exactly how to handle questions, and I'm sure the "act" was arranged in a nudge-nudge, wink-wink kind of way where Brady hinted at how he likes his balls along with providing some sort of gift, and the ballboy ran with it on his own. That way Brady could say "he had no knowledge" or "didn't tell anyone" to do it. It's about skating around the fringes of the truth, and that's how most successful cheating is done, whether its games, taxes or anything else. Brady has his plausible deniability because he never gave explicit instructions, he just expressed his preferences. It's a crock, and pretty much everyone outside of Pats' fans knows it. Unfortunately, the tracks will lead no further than the ball boy because Brady's method of influencing events was carefully orchestrated to provide for plausible deniability. He's getting into practice for his next career in politics.

Why cant the NFL just have whoever take a lie detector test ball boy, / BB/TB who ever, . I know there was no " crime " commited , but you would think this would get some anser's . IMO unless they have something to hide they would gladly take one..

Not sure if this was brought up earlier. In 4 years w/the Pats, BenJarvus-Green Ellis had zero fumbles. In two years with the Bengals, he had 5 fumbles. The Bengals weren't exactly chumps in the two years. He ran behind top ten OL both years.

Pretty telling. I think it's obvious that NE has been doing this for a long time.

    Cheaters gonna cheat.

    Great point!

    With Pats: 510 carries ... 0 fumbles

    With Bengals: 498 carries ... 5 fumbles

It is very interesting the gamesmanship going on with this thing. Kraft was pretty adamant that he expects an apology if no proof is found which would seem to imply that he knows where this thing is going to end. I have seen others comment (Terence Moore, the NY Times columnist O'Connor) that Kraft's move is pretty ballsy and could leave him with egg on his face - one of those reporters indicating the have had inside discussions with NFL personnel that this is going to be embarrassing for Kraft and the Patriots...that could be hearsay.

Also as I understand it, the officials are being examined as well because maybe they didn't do enough to really certify the balls were at the correct pressure...but even with that said it still leaves a big gaping hole in why 11 of 12 were still so far underinflated.

But Kraft is more in the know and my guess is he knows the NFL really won't be able to get more than it already has. My hunch is the following will happen.

1.) The league will file a procedural penalty on the Patriots for not doing enough to securely ensure the balls are provided at the proper PSI, they will fine the Patriots for $25,000 total or $25,000 per ball as the rules seem to imply...thus $275,000.

2.) The league will not suspend Belichick or Brady in any way shape or form.

3.) The league will not apologize to the Patriots, but will make a statement that basically indicates "they regret the length of time of the investigation and in any way that it may have indicted people in the public forum, but that the incident had to be investigated - if they are smart they will make clear a couple of points that should close the book (a) They have no "smoking gun" that indicts the Patriots...i.e. there is no certifiable proof (b) However the very nature that 11 of 12 balls were so significantly underinflated made it necessary to conduct this investigation and furthermore considering that NONE of the 12 balls that the Colts had were underinflated (c) That not sticking to a protocol (i.e. the assistant taking the balls into the bathroom) could have an impact on maintaining the integrity of ensuring balls with the correct PSI are delivered for the game

4.) The league will either completely re-vamp how game balls are introduced for the game where the NFL will take over the reigns of supplying the footballs or will announce strict procedures that must adhered to including a testing of the balls prior to the game and a random test of 3-4 balls once they arrive on the field.

The police use that same tactic with innocent people all the time. If you have nothing to hide, you'll let them search your car. Hopefully society doesn't ever buy into this philosophy. Brady and Belichek may very well be guilty in this matter, but there's something inherently wrong with having to prove your own innocence.
