Am I the only one who has almost no interest watching the Super Bowl this year? I'll probably end up watching it, but I couldn't have liked two teams less than I do the Seahawks and the Patriots. I think the Seahawks aren't that good and they're about to get steamrolled by the Patriots. Even if I thought it would be a competitive game, this matchup doesn't interest me in the least.

As I said, I'll probably still end up watching, if for nothing else than the commercials.

I'm not a huge fan of either team. However, I think it will be an outstanding game. It wouldn't surprise me if it was similar to the NFC Championship game.

I actually think the Pats are gonna get demolished. I really believe in the adage that "defense wins championships" and we saw it clearly last year. I think Seattle is gonna treat NE the same way they did the broncos. They will just outphysical the Pats. Brady is a lot better than Manning when it counts but in this game I don't think it's gonna matter.

I think its going to be a great game and I cant wait to watch it. I think its the best game and match up of the teams remaining in the Confrence Champ games.

I agree with BFT, I think the Seahawks are going to beat the Pastries pretty handily.

And he won't be able to deflate the balls to keep up with a younger stronger armed qb

Well I don't think Brady was the one on the sidelines sucking the air out of them. Trust me, if that happened TTF would have like 20 gifs of it already. LOL.

Blah? No, but its a no win game from my perspective, I dont care for either team but it is most definitely an intriguing match up.

I disagree with others that the Pats will get demolished, their defense is pretty good too and Seattles offense isn't anything special, meanwhile NE's offense is.

I think NE wins, but its a game thats up for grabs, don't think there is any clear cut favorite.

I can't remember when I have had so little interest in a SB. I'll be going to a party but will probably end up playing some board or card game and pay hardly any attention to the game.

Heck, I will probably pay more attention to Lynch's media day responses than to the actual game itself.

What? You mean the string of answers like "Thank you for asking.", "Yeah","Maybe","I don't know.", and "No Juice."?

No thanks, not even remotely entertaining. Wish they would just move along and actually talk to other players that have some desire to discuss the game.

One thing that I think might actually work in the Pats favor is this whole "deflating" scandal. If you remember when the spygate thing happened Bill came out and said "we're just thinking about the Chargers" and literally came out and just walloped them and that set the stage for their undefeated season until the biggest fluke in SB history. This team seems to feed off that "us vs the world" mentality and so it wouldn't surprise to see this actually benefit them in some strange way. If the Packers had won in Seattle and that's who the Pats were playing I would absolutely say that this controversy would propel them to victory. But that Seattle d thrives on playing qbs that the media loves to salivate over. So, if anything, this controversy is probably gonna make the game a little more dramatic. You know the media loves that crap.

I'll watch the game and enjoy it. I'm not particularly a fan of the Seahawks in any way, but I would enjoy seeing them thoroughly destroy the Patriots.

I had much less interest last year, as I hate the Donkeys and don't like the Seahags. This year though...rooting against the Pats is such great entertainment. Go Seahawks! :lolol:

I always enjoy watching good defense. And I'll never have one ounce of respect for the Patriots.

    Go Seahawks!

He should root for the Seahawks. He's holding his arm like Richard Sherman right now anyway...

You would think it would, but the deflated balls aren't really an issue in the grand scheme of things. The Colts were just plain beaten. Badly.
Do I really have any more interest than before in watching? That's negligible. But, I will watch and hope for a Seahawks win I guess. I just don't think this game is even going to be remotely close. I'm talking SB XXIV bad.

I completely disagree. Deflated balls ARE really an issue in the grand scheme of things. Its about the integrity of the game and Mr Belichick has shown that he lacks regard for it. If this is true the league better bust his ass hard. Nothing short of a one year suspension for him and multiple first rounds picks is adequate.

Draft picks will be about the most of it, don't see anyway that he gets suspended for a year.

This is a tough one for me because I enjoy watching that Seattle defense but I'm also a fan of Brady and think it would be funny if he got four while peyton still only has one. However, I really like Russell Wilson from a character standpoint and it's sorta hard for me to root against him. Also I'm pretty much always gonna pull for the AFC. This is really one of those games where I might just have to start watching it and decide from there who I would like to see win. I'm just glad it won't be a forehead, a unibrow, or a cowgirl.

The refs inspect all footballs and hold them for 2 hours before game start so this had to happen one of three ways: 1) The Pats tampered with the footballs after they were inspected, 2) The handed under inflated balls to the refs in the hopes they wouldn't catch them 3) They delivered balls right on the low side of legal knowing that 2 hours in the cold would lower the pressure in them.

So if number 1 they cheated and should get hammered. Number 2 is just gamesmanship Aaron Rodgers has admitted to doing the same thing (except over inflated). The NFL should probably notify the refs to do a better jobs during inspections. Number 3 is just smart football. If I had to bet a paycheck I would bet on this option. Just like Bill to use the Ideal Gas Law to help win a football game.
