Might be a good idea to include the number to a suicide hotline in this thread.

Steelers would be playing in this game and have the edge if he were never released.

I'll show you...we'll cut you. And then you'll suffer and go to a team that has the best coach in the league, one of the best QB's all-time. You'll play in the AFC Championship game...likely go to the Superbowl. I bet he's bumming that he's not working for the great Steeler organization.
Not to Hi-jack the thread,but...how much better is Billicheck at managing his team/players than Tomlin. Blount isn't the workhorse he wants to be in N.E either. We brought him in under the idea that he'd be number 2...get playing time, but clearly number 2. And he had issue... Not saying the typical "fire Tomlin" rant...but your player coach BS kinda screwed you Mikey...I don't think Blount respected Tomlin (clearly). But I'm pretty sure he wouldn't even think of pulling the same shenanigans in N.E. No way to tell for sure, Just my perspective. N.E. clearly takes their leadership cues from Bill...not sure I can say the same for our Steelers?

This. Some choose to blame Blount for being a punk, yet one HC can control him and Steelers cannot.

Don't get carried away, but I think he'd be better. If not, he'd be OUT!

Tough to say what goes on in the locker room and in a guys head. At the beginning of the season, even LeVeon Bell said he would be the 20s to 20s guy and Blount would be the red zone guy, ala Deuce and Bettis. But as the season progressed and Bell improved with every game, Blount's opportunities dwindled. Maybe he voiced his displeasure in the locker room and it did not sit well with the team. Again, who knows. His decision to walk out was selfish imo and its tough to blame Tomlin for that. He's been on a few different teams in the league and that may be for good reason.

Tomlin is NO where near Belichick, and is NOT worthy to be in the same sentence.

    We accept that. Obviously.

Agreed it was likely for good reason. But, it wasn't like they didn't know what they we're getting. Likely should've had a contingency??? If you want to exercise your power, you don't cut a guy to get another Job. You suspend him for conduct detrimental without pay for the 4 weeks allowed. You make him an example...and since he counts against your cap, you keep him on the roster and deactivate, if the suspension doesn't work. How many times have we seen the Jedi Master Bill, suspend/deactivate a guy..even a starter. Happened to Randy Moss...happened to Revis this year. Just saying, the coach is charged with running the team successfully, not making sure every guy has the warm and fuzzy feeling. Plenty of guys dis-like one and other in a locker room...It's the head coaches job to regulate. Straight out cutting a guy who can contribute...is a weak move..says to me, the situation is beyond your skill set. Suspending and making an example would punish the player much more than cutting him...as we have evidence this evening of said punishment—and put all others on notice. And still have the player on our roster if an emergency arose....say like a playoff game with your stud injured???

I thought there were two of me on this board when I read this. Nice post. It strengthened our opponents and hurt us, not the stuff a head coach should be engaged in. Makes my head spin that Tomlin could not motivate a man paid millions to do what he loves. No excuse for it period, its on Tomlin and I don't care what the homers think.
