Man you thought Seattle was gonna lose to Carolina? I was telling people they had a second bye by playing them.

Since I can't stand Sherman's ego, (His head is so big you can see part of it from here in San Diego), and their "fans", who didn't know what a football looked like until a few years ago; it was wishful thinking.

Man Sherman is a phenomenal player but it's possible that he might not even be the best on that defense. I'd take most of those guys in a heartbeat. I still don't think that team will wind up being a dynasty though because FA is gonna bite them hard with the way a lot of those guys have been playing.

I agree that Sherman is an incredible player but, he's got "Deion Sanders-itis" I STILL hate him and his big mouth! Just as you can't take Papa John's, I now can't stand Campbells chunky!

I suppose you like Michael Irvin too? Same inflated ego.

NO! Man he's really annoying and does nothing but talk about the cowgirls on NFL Network.

Whew! That's good to know. There's a line between being confident and being an arrogant D-bag. To me, guys like Deion, Irvin and Sherman fall into the latter category.

I just think of Deion as more of a "persona" than anything else. When I was a kid I thought he was cool because he did those funny dances and had funny nicknames and stuff like that. Now he seems like a pretty good mentor to guys in the league. HOWEVER, when he went to the cowgirls he was my sworn enemy but then when he left I loved him again. LOL.

Living in NJ it made me ill to see Governor Crisp Christie groping Jerry Jones after they stole a win from Detroit thanks to the zebras.
So karma reared it's head and head case Dezzy screwed up. Love it!

The 08 defense was very good but not as good as the 76 defense. They were the only team in NFL history to shut out their opponents in three straight games. Later in that year they shut out their opposition the last two game of the year and then shut out the opponent in the first game of the following year. I know the young pup that you are you would not have been able to see and appreciate the 76 Steelers. lol I was 30 when they had the great teams of the 70's so I will always appreciate the greatest dynasty of all times in the NFL. Wait another 40 years and we can visit again and see if any dynasty comes along to compare to that one.

There's only 2 other defenses that come close to the '76 Steelers. the'85 Bears and the Raven's 1st SB season. in '76, I was a year out of high school and it was a great time to be a Steeler fan. The only drawback being, living in an AFC west city, we didn't get the Steeler games on tv unless it was monday night.

I always wondered why Jerry felt he needed a stadium that big. Then I see Christie in the suite and I was like "Ohhhhhhh!!!" LOL!

I've always thought our 2008 defense was better than the 2000 ravens. We held alot of teams to under 200 yards during that season.

Yeah that 08 defense might be the best I've ever seen in my life.
