In the AFC North. That's my opinion. Where do you rank him?

I like Marvin Lewis, but he's mediocre at best. And Pettrine? 1 year in Cleveland isn't enough to tell. So it's a 2 horse race and I'll go with Tomlin because Im a homer.

So Mike Tomlin has won a Super Bowl, went to another, won 2 AFC Championships, has won a vast majority of his games, and Marvin Lewis has never won a playoff game and Pettine has won 7 games and they are both comparable to Tomlin? Sigh...

To be fair, there's no HC at the Browns long enough to make a reliable comparison.

You want to switch QBs with the Bengals and see how that goes?

Lewis had Palmer and didn't do anything either. Marvin Lewis is not as good of a coach as Tomlin. Tomlin has won games with Batch. Tomlin has won games with Dixon. It is not as though Tomlin has had Ben for every single game. Tomlin has never had a losing season. Lewis? Not so much.

He had him for 3 plays before Kemo blew out his knee?

So Carson Palmer didn't play the whole year and then came in for 3 plays? Come on now. Marvin Lewis doesn't have near the resume that Tomlin does and if you think that it's because he doesn't have a qb do you think that Lewis didn't want Dalton signed long term? Are you saying that Dalton has been forced on him?

WTF are you talking about. Carson played the whole year and made the Pro Bowl ... for the last time, the Bengals finished the season 11-5 and won the AFC North. My point was that he had Palmer for 3 postseason plays.

WTF difference does it make if he'd rather have Dalton vs random scrub? That doesn't make Dalton a Big Ben quality QB.

I thought you were being sarcastic because I thought Palmer was in the game longer than that. I didn't think that injury happened on the 3rd play of the game.

He had a great year that year for sure. I honestly always felt like we would have probably lost that game if he had stayed healthy. But hasn't Lewis had like 4 win seasons before? Tomlin managed 11 this year with sub par talent at best. I mean our defense has a lot of castoffs and AARP recipients on it. Yeah Tomlin has had Ben but he hasn't always had a good rb or defense and we've still managed to win games. Really though Lewis and Tomlin were somewhat similar this year in that they both lost an integral offensive cog right before the playoffs.

I voted 2nd, but I honestly think it's close between him and Lewis for #2. I think there's a huge gap between Harbaugh and Tomlin for 1st vs. 2nd. Utterly huge.

I think the gap is only the size of Ozzie Newsome, tbh.

I also think Newsome has been VERY integral in the building of that team.

Lewis is the epitome of mediocrity. I marvel at the Bengal's lack of ambition by keeping him in position for so long.

I voted 2nd, as like the majority we don't feel he walks on water like some board members do.
