I pretty much agree with all of it except that I assume that Keisel's body is breaking down and he will re-injure himself. I'd still bring him back though, if only for chasing Jordan Cameron down.

Those three players saved our bacon and are a big reason this team made the post season.
Gay had 3 pick sixes. CB's get beat, I saw Sherman get beat several times this year, does that mean hes not among the best? In todays game where the rules favor the WR so much, those 3 guys did a superb job.

They did fair at best . Like I said complete games they played average some games and horrid other games .Games where Sherman gets beat he still defends a lot of passes and makes a lot of shore tackles plus they put him 1 on 1 with no help the entire game . If you did that to one of our 3 they would give up 400 yards to DHB and Johnny Football in one game.

I'd give Gay a B+ and the other two B's. They were solid.

Damn they grade that high ? I wished you and guys like you would have been on the committee when I was playing CB , I would have been an All American.

It was Gays best year I will give him that , but there are at least 50 better CB'S than him in the NFL . I can't give a guy a high grade because he was the best of the worse . Seems about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop .

I doubt there are 50 better CB's, holy smokes you have a low opinion of him. :lolol:

And I'm not saying this to be mean but unless you played on a pro level, Gay or any CB's worse day would be better than your best. I think you guys seriously underestimate the difference between guys who get to the NFL and the ones who dont.

At least 50 maybe more . And I tore up my knee or who knows ? I was 6'1 and 210 and ran a 4.42 Forty and I hit a ton lol . I did however party way to much and chased way to many woman , so yes it was probably never meant to be .

O.K. I give . He is ranked around #30 this season . So I will go with that and say there are at least 25 better than him . Still not good enough in todays NFL The other 2 are not rated in the Top 50 .

We need at least 1 guy in the top 10 and then we need at least 1 who is not on the list for the right reason. The top CB'S in the NFL don't rank high in passes defended or INT'S because Teams don't go there way on a consistent basis .

I am fine with Gay at the #3 spot . If we intend to build a dominate D that will be the Bar IMO .

Back to the DL, I agree with what the OP said, nice job.

We must decide which direction we go ( scheme ) and who's going to guide/ build it.

We stay with LeBeaus 3-4 we'll need to add a 2-Gap NT on the DL and the very least one effective pass rushing OLB. McCullers has potential but still unproven. McClendon is really 1-Gap guy and his a athleticism is hindered playing him zero-tech.

If we go 4-3 we'll need a speed rushing DE.

Zilla needs to go. Keisel one more year as back-up in limited snaps.

Still pissed off poor roster management cost us Mauro!!!

We are right back where we were last offseason, needing Dline help. The difference is this time we don't need to draft a starter. We have 4 guys in Heyward, McCulers, Tuitt, and McLendon, but we need backup defensive ends. I do think that McLendon can slide out at time potentially to the DE spot at times to give us some position flexibility on the Dline.

McCullers' college career was wasted by Lane Kiffin. Give him another year of coaching and he might be a difference maker.
