Resisting a beer just at the moment as the game is starting past 1 am here, and I'm not as rock'n'roll as I used to be... But the coffee is not helping the anticipation.

 

My chest is getting tight...not sure if I can stand another close game. It will only get worse next week when we go to Denver...my family (all from Montana) are huge Bronco fans...and even worse for the AFCCG in New England (live in Rhode Island)

I swear the Steelers have taken at least 5 years off my life...if not more

Not only pacing,heart is racing ,but my directv being down is the biggest problem I'm facing. Lost signal here in upstate NY. I will be going on the roof soon if need be.

 

I feel you. Mine has held up so far but it's supposed to be really bad storms tonight and that messes with it a lot. If it messes up I will be going to somebody's house that has cable to watch the game. I'm not missing it!

 

I'll get the Earl Grey tea on next.

I feel your pain, during the season 1PM games start at 2AM here. I get lucky with the night games when I don't have any work to do at 10AM.

 

Right there with the rest. I have been in a funk all day just thinking about the game. My stomach is in knots. Wife is mad at me because she said I have been distant all day. This game being at 8:15 is the worst thing for my nerves.

 

WAIT! A British guy that likes TEA?! LOL!

 

How much longer are you gonna be stationed over there? Also are you allowed sorta use off time to watch games or do you just get to watch every now and then?

 

Can you imagine what the players are going through. I'm glad we have some seasoned vets to help those young-ins stay focused

 

Tried getting up on the roof it was a sheet of ice, no go. Then the redneck ingenuity kicked in. I hit it with a snowball ,problem solved.

Man I hope so. I am the only one who hates to see the home team win the game before ours. The superstitious nut job I am always thinks that if the home team wins the first game it won't hold true in the second game. C'mon Cards come back.

Oh, I'm retiring here. I'm on shore duty so I don't have any junior guys to take care of. I do ask for Special Liberty for games I really just want to sit at home and watch though. If we're not woking anything major it's usually cool.

Most time I just wander over to our lounge and watch there. It's nice to be a Chief and be on shore duty....
