I brought up BA college days to show he has much more experience being a HC than Haley.

It's because he knows that I'm right about Haley being the better OC, he's just trying to make things up to make BA look better.

You'll pretty much have to prove anything you claim now since you've shown to the board that you are a liar.

    Thats rich, coming from you.

    Well, you're wrong.

Jim and I are comparing OC's here, BA was behind one of the best comeback drives in SB history, Haley has no such claim to fame, that's all my point was. Of course I would give Ben a ton of credit, he made the throws. You come out of left field sometimes with stuff about me, yikes.

    Very.

I agree, I would lock this thread before Blast has a chance to lie about all of the great things that BA has done. Especially when he's trying to take credit away from his hero Ben, in the final drive vs the Cards. That's crossing the line.

Not that I was cheering for Haley, but the Cards were down 20-7 after 3 quarters, then came storming back to take the lead in the 4th vs the #1 D.

No need, just come back into an adult conversation. You resorted to all this silliness because you were getting schooled.

Storming back? 2 TD lead is STORMING back? Ok.

    Great job anyway, he lost.

If you didn't hear back from Hines how could batch give you the same answer?

Maybe you forgot but Ben threw incomplete on 1st and goal from the 5. Which means the clock was stopped and Arians called the game winning play.

Same answer as in what I said earlier, Ben calls his own plays in the no huddle BA called them when the clock stopped, Blast lied saying he never calls his own plays in the no huddle,,, we're not talking about the final play we're talking about the drive that got them to the goal line

The only person that lied was you with the make believe tweet from Hines. On that drive consisting of 9 plays we had one penalty, two incomplete passes, and used two timeouts. There wasn't a whole lot of no huddle action going on with the clock stopped 5 times.

You really need to grow up Jim.

By the way, your hero didn't make Warner, Warner made Haley. Warner himself and Whiz are responsible for resurrecting his own career.

In some cases, Warner wasn't just throwing completions. He was designing them too. Leinart once said Warner would come in every Monday and implement 20-to-30 new plays for that week's game plan. Haley said on Tuesdays Warner would fax him 20-some sheets of plays he drew up after watching tape. Then, as the week went on, they could communicate at any hour. "He'd be sitting at one of his kid's football games and I could hear the racket," Haley said. "He's got his laptop in the stands. He's telling me to look at a play and pointing out an opportunity. He was almost like an additional coach."

Warner was so much a part of the planning that the coaching staff gave him more autonomy through a "signals package," in which Haley would call the formation and protection and Warner would direct the play call based on his pre-snap read. At the time, Peyton Manning was running his games at the line of scrimmage for the Colts, but very few other teams were giving quarterbacks many play calling choices under center. As the 2008 season progressed, the signals package became more and more central to the Cardinals offense.

It is incredible the damage that BA has done to all of our collective psyches. Or is it Haley??? I can't say because my psyche is just too damaged. LOL!!!

Warner wasn't doing that until Haley got there. 05 and 06 were nothing like 07 and especially 08. Even Fitzgerald said how great Haley was, he took Fitz to the next level. Funny how that's happening here too, Ben and Brown went nuts this year, thanks to Haley.

    Reading, it's fundamental.

Fitzgerald already was a productive wide receiver when Warner became his quarterback, but Warner made him a complete player who could run any route the right way. Earlier in his career, Fitzgerald said he made a living mostly by running up the numbers and out jumping defenders. Fitzgerald said Warner sat him down and told him, " I know you are very talented at taking the ball at the highest point. But if you are going to have success with me you are going to have to learn to play the game my way. You need to watch Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt and Az Hakim."

Fitzgerald did just that, and then Warner helped Fitzgerald by giving him passes he could run with. In 2006 when Leinart was the starter, Fitzgerald averaged 3.23 yards after the catch. In 2008 when Warner was the yearlong starter, Fitzgerald averaged 4.80 yards after the catch, according to Stats.

This is how I look at Ben and BA, Ben had to scramble for his life, just to keep BA's horrible plays and playing calling alive. Luck did the same thing in Indy, he made BA look good. Now that BA has nobody to make him look good in Arizona, his horribles plays are getting exposed, he's garbage!! and the Cards will be gone in round 1. Lets see if BA can repeat another 11-5 next season. I bet they go 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

His vertical game requires a very good line, so his QB tend to get beat up, I won't disagree with that but the rest I will. He's not being exposed, he has no QB now, think Haley would be doing well without Ben?

BA keeps proving everyone wrong and people keep making excuses. When Arizona is right back in the thick of it again next year, more excuses will be made.

Just in case people thought that I was lying about Batch getting back to me too, lol now we all know that Ben does call his own plays in the no huddle, even with the SB on the line.

Do players always respond to people on twitter? I don't know anything about it and thought that mostly like celebrities and stuff did it. That's pretty cool though to get a player to respond. Do they only answer certain questions or can you talk to them any time you want to?

It's really up to the celebrity. Some of them are active on twitter while others have assistants deal with social media. I would be surprised if batch has an assistant that tweets for him, but it's entirely possible that it that the reply wasn't actually from batch. As an example kiesel's wife posts to fb for him.
