Are you a doctor or did you just stay in a Holiday Inn Express? Screw Suggs, if you want to crown him, then crown him. If we are afraid of him, then we shouldn't even take the field.

I never crowned anyone, but you obviously dont know anything about a hyper extended knee, you dont come back from a hyper ex in one week, read this and learn something.

Thats pretty much what most ortho surgeons diagnose as heal time for hyper ex, if bell wants to risk getting torn ligaments he can take a pain killer shot and get on out there, whether thats the right choice I guess it's up to him and the docs to decide, but if he goes down with a torn ACL/MCL we wont have him back for the start of next season...

He won't be back for the start anyway. He's probably going to be suspended.

Hope you're right, I just think its impossible to learn a play book in 5 days. And really hope you're right about Bell not being done for the year.

He doesn't have to know the entire playbook. No offense goes into a game with the entire playbook in their plan for that week. For a running back it is very similar from team to team. The holes are the same the wording might be a little different.

lol, I was channeling my inner Dennis Green. My point, which I made in another discussion, is that if it takes time, and everyone knows it takes time, then so be it. But they are making it sound like he has a chance. And so, if he does have a chance, his health should be the determining factor. Not T Suggs or any other player on the Ravens.

He said today the knee feels great and he is riding the stationary bike like he is training for the tour de France. His legs and body are in great shape after dropping 15 pounds this off season. If he was still 240 then I would also say no way he goes this weekend.

I'd rather have Harris in there. Tate hasn't played in how many weeks? Has couple days of practice and needs to learn the plays/terminology. Why risk a critical turnover do to play breaking down.

I go back and forth on it. Part of me thinks this could be one of those shocker games for Harris. Living in Winston Salem I have seen a lot of him at Wake and he is a good runner. You give him a crease and its see ya but the hole has to be there ala FWP.

I too would rather have harris playing along with dri, but can't figure out why not bring ladarius perkins up off the PS too. he too was a good runner in college and has been around learning the playbook for several weeks now. I don't have a problem with bringing tate in at this point but only to play the following week and not this one. I hope we don't have to dummy down the offense at this point. it may all be a moot point because I think bell is going to play.

Didn't folks say Blount just needed a change? so what's he do? Gets Bell smoked up (CAUGHT) and walks off and signs back with the turd who sent him here, one BILLYCHEAT!

I think Tate was signed mostly to block. Dre gets slapped around BUT Harris had a real nice run that Ramone had called back. I think Harris will have most of the runs. Archer will be a receiver out of the backfield and Tate will mostly block

I get a lot of ACC games here in Virginia. Harris is a work-out freak and a talented RB. I think he went undrafted due to being injury prone his last 3 seasons at Wake Forest but the talent is there and he beats out Zereoue and Mendenhall for best guns on a Steelers RB.

I think we'll see Harris a bit, Archer less, and some Tate.

I would love to see Tate and Harris have a big day just to hear what sort of word play Boomer does on countdown the next morning. The Ravens had all they could Tate and they can't Tate no more. The Steelers won in a landslide and you can Tate that to the bank. So many bad puns:shrug:

Tate said he's trying to lean the playbook but that their offense is nothing like the other teams he has played for.

Harris will be getting the bulk of the work load, I'm interested in seeing what he can do.
