I was thinking the same thing. That trip to Seattle will not be fun. Have to go to New England too.

Was thinking about that during this game. I think I would have rather had the Texans and Bills and a road game (especially now with Bell out) instead of Pats/Colts. Plus I live close enough to Buffalo that I would have got tickets.

On the plus side no Jets or Bucs on the agenda. Remember 2008 when we had the hardest schedule in the NFL, and we won it all. Ahhhh.. good times.

Just posted my concerns about the schedule on another thread. Hopefully the iron sharpens iron mantra is for real because we will be up against some heavy metal.

Sounds like a 13-3 record to me. I mean hell all those teams are better than .500 teams and we play well against them.

You never know from one year to the next what the schedule will bear. Injuries. Short weeks. Bye weeks. It's not just a matter of who you play, but a matter of WHEN you play them. Imagine if the Steelers had the road dates for Atlanta and Cleveland switched. They'd likely be 12-4.

But one thing is almost for sure: a loss in Seattle. And this isn't just because the Seahawks are a great team, especially at home. It's because the Steelers are traditionally very bad in Mountain and Pacific time zones, and they are really, really bad in Seattle.

The Steelers have a 1-6 record in Seattle.

Had to be 8 years ago. Usually you play the one NFC conference every 4 years, then you rotate home site. We played the Seahawks at home the last time (2011) We won that game pretty easily, that was pre-legion of boom and Russell Wilson.

I actually like it considering that our effort seems to match our competition, meaning we win 15 games and lose to the raiders

I was going to post the same thing about 2008. That schedule I think I would have been happy had we gone 8-8 and look where we ended up... :)

With free agency, injuries etc. who knows who will be good and who will be bad next year. That being said on paper this looks to be a very tough schedule but then again we seem to play better against good competition. I would be afraid if we got the weakest schedule. We would probably be a 2-14 team with wins over New England and Seattle... LOL
