There was so much to love about Brown's awesome punt return last night:

    1. By far, Brown's longest run back of the year.
    2. Critical momentum swing early on - energized the crowd even more than they already were.
    3. Longest previous return against Bengals this year was 11 yds
    4. NBC ran a time-lapsed yd stick icon on a replay that showed AB actually ran 116 yds total
    5. The Cincy punter kicked that ball nearly 70 yds in the air - unreal - but it gave AB time to see the whole field and start his razzle-dazzle.
    5. And most impressive - not a single yellow hanky on the field.

All in all - super play all around by entire special teams crew. :applaud:

And somebody said a week or two ago that AB should not be returning punts.:stogie:

So it's now a foregone conclusion - MT & staff don't read this MB. Can you imagine if they did what chaos would ensue? Please just let them continue doing what they're already doing so well (except maybe for a certain faux punt). It's obvious that the Brown's follow the drivel on their team MB to a T - how else do you explain Johnny Football be handed the keys to the car?

It was a nice run. However, he keeps running into players. ;)

The thing I didn't like about the punt return was the stupid flip at the end. I still can't believe MT puts up with that potential injury showboat garbage.

Could you imagine going into the playoffs without both Bell and Brown being injured?

It was DELIGHTFUL watching my lady go through the emotions of that play. The intitial catch ('Go AB!) to the surrounding ('just go down, protect the ball!') to the reverse ('STOP GOING BACKWARDS!) to the sprint to the endzone ('GO GO GO GO Antooooooonio!). I was overcome with love in that moment! Sorry to get all mushy....

Hold on Dream Man, you're not in Kansas any........wait - never mind. I had a similar experience with my 5 cats, except they all ran out of the room when I equally went berzerk on that play. And I agree with 86WardsWay - that was a stupid antic plus he landed square on his lumbar - the East German judges would have only given him a 2.9 on that sorry effort.

Tomlin did ban it but I'm sure he is happy to let that one slide.

just more proof that Mr Tomlin has ZERO control of this team
No flipping way I would stand for Browns shenanigans after I told him not to do such shenanigans

Thankful he ran it back because I really don't think I could sat through another badly called offensive series too.

AB is absolutely incredible! Does anyone else think we're watching a future HOFer when we see him play?

I was thinking today how I liked the fact that Shazier was running along side AB to escort him in to the end zone.

AB maybe the most gifted Steeler I have seen since the dynasty years. Smooth as silk. Exciting
fun to watch.Barring injuries, keep your eye on him you are watching a very talented ball player.

I'm so paranoid at the games, I did not get excited when he started to break for it. I did not get excited when it looked like he would score. I did not get excited when he crossed the goal line. I intently searched the entire field for a yellow flag. Seeing none, I then was excited.

And that's what's wrong with today's NFL. You expect a flag.

the craziest thing was when I heard that all of brown's 3 career punt return td's are against the bengals

I did the exact same thing.

Then I couldn't understand why such a highly skilled player with excellent field vision, couldn't see the potential injury in that stupid flip.

I hate that. Block someone of get the **** clear of the guy with the ball. Bryant almost cost us a TD trying to race AB to the endzone on the long TD reception for no reason.

Unless he gets injured, yeah. He plays with passion ... and apparently he trains and practices the same way.

I was thinking the same thing especially with Bryant. Thought for sure he would be tackled by his own player. Doesn't even need to throw a block. Just stop and get in the way!
