You can't say the team won't miss him.

Without him, I'm not even sure the Steelers are favored next week.

Agreed. To those who think "No problem, we'll just throw all over them," why do you think we're ABLE to throw at will??? Bell kept defenses honest. Both in that they could not ignore the run, AND they had to ensure he wasn't left in space on passing plays. The mere threat of his presence opened up a lot.

There were 2 players that if injured would really hurt us: Ben and Bell. Let's all hope and pray Bell will be ok.

This is a good point that can't be overlooked. Without Bell doing what he does, the passing game doesn't open up as much.

Agree with all of this other than the 2 players part. I think Brown opens up a whole bunch of opportunities for everyone else as well (including Bell). Losing any of the 3 killer B's hurts.

The Steelers are 4 point favorites against the Ravens.

What I'm seeing is a 3 pt favorite and Bell's status hasn't been announced yet. If Bell is announced out, watch what happens to the line. The Steelers are the smallest favorite of any team next weekend and it's generally believed that HFA gives 3 points so essentially they're saying the teams are even.

Your right the line dropped from a 4 point favorite to a 3 point favorite overnight. I don't think the line will change much more. I think the Steelers are still a good bet with giving the Ravens 3 points.

I'm not in to betting, but a 3 point difference either way seems about right. I would love a 35-3 game, like that one on Monday night in 2007
