Okay there really are no benefits but I am trying to spin this in a positive way.

    1. Harris steps up and starts a great career by scoring game winning TD against the RATS.
    2. Everyone on the team comes together more than ever and steps their game up on a magical run to number 7.
    3. Rats come in cocky because they know there will be no Bell to ring and they get walked all over.

I did think the team rallied in the 4th quarter after the initial shock of the injury.

Josh Harris has a chance to be a hero. The 59 yard run - despite the ticky tack call- gave me hope.
The Steelers have never beaten the Ravens by running the ball anyway, and they haven't run the ball well at all the last 3 games.

We can literally pass all game against the Rats and win...much like how we beat them last time we played when Ben threw for 6 TDs. Our D is playing much better now too and is healthier. Let them come.

Bell's presence helps Ben get those TD's. Without Bell the Ravens are gonna T off on Ben.

And Bell was great in pass protection, seeing Archer back there scared the hell out of me..

There is no benefit with Bell not playing, he changes games. People he is a superstar one
    of the few we have.

If Bell is a scratch then yes, the crows will think that it's going to be all passing. Harris impressed me as well with the run that was called back on a ticky tack. Both teams shutdown the run anyways as jimmyallen45 said. Archer CANNOT be in pass protection as we saw yesterday. Losing Bell is a big blow but not a death sentence.

The crows were fortunate they won yesterday, and they are coming to Pittsburgh.

Ravens are a tough team against the run normally. Bell is huge out of the backfield catching the ball, which will be missed. He is also a great blitz pick up blocker. Expect to see Heath Miller in the backfield on shotgun should Bell not play.

The bonus part about Harris is, he could be a huge surprise in the making, and the Rats have nothing to go on. Harris is a bigger boy too, for the pass protection. I would only use Archer for the passing game, he'll get slaughtered if he tries to block for Ben.

I like Harris, too bad his coaching staff at Wake sabotaged his chance to get drafted, he is a fast tough back, he has 4.46 speed and is a pounder, he has his chance and with a chip on his shoulder he should take full advantage of it....

    Agreed from what I've seen.

My sincere hope is that if we have to lean on him, he makes the best of it.

Then the rest of the league looks up and says, "What? We have to worry about this guy TOO now?!"

Yeah totally agree. It really will be a bummer if bell can't go, but I'd be excited to see what Harris offers with that speed and compact size with a week of work as the #1.

And if we like what we see from Harris it could eliminate the need to draft a RB and focus more on the other areas of need.

I can't see Bell playing in this game! I have had several knee hyperextensions, and the major issue is that the knee just feels really loose. Its usually a 2-3 week process, but I would say he could play in the next round with a brace, but that also depends on whether or not the MRI shows any structural damage such as any type of tears...even minor ones! Harris showed a little flash last night, so I think he can at least manage things for us! We get by this game, and welcome Bell back in the divisional round!

I was just saying this to a buddy of mine. Hopefully, Josh Harris can be run through the playbook this week so that we see what he has in those packages.
