Sounds about right for him. I don't remember the exact game, but I do remember it was during a season that Wallace had more targets than ever before in his entire career. Wallace wasn't getting as many deep balls as he was used to but was instead being used in other ways to help the team. Wallace came out and said he was losing focus during games. I knew right then that he would be a cancer anywhere he went and he'd have a short NFL career. He's another Santonio Holmes

And many of us heard that and thought the same thing. Its a crying shame when someone with that kind of talent ends up being such a prima donna.

I never liked him . I complained about him on the old board for lack of effort . I still believe he had balls he could have caught and helped us win , but he didn't even try because the ball wasn't perfect.

We had a huge thread on the 1 in the end zone that passed right at the goal post , I was positive he could have caught it if he would just try. That was all I needed to see from him. A WR who won't block or fight for every ball is a bad WR regardless of talent.

Yeah, I remember calling into SiriusXM NFL radio and talking with Rich Gannon and Adam Schein. I blasted Mike Wallace and said I didn't want him back and I wanted the Steelers to let him walk at the end of his contract. They thought I was crazy. I could see it written all over Wallace, he was a lazy, selfish player. He's apparently gotten even worse in Miami.

Agree. And now it's even harder to look back and like him at all, seeing the work ethic of someone like AB.

He's such a diva that this shouldn't even be a story. This is what you get with a snot nosed punk like Mikey. The article says he had a good year:

Wallace, 28 is signed through the 2017 season and is coming off a good year in which he caught 67 passes for 862 yards and 10 touchdowns...

That's a good year for a number 2. But for a number one who broke the bank with a $60 million contract THAT is not a good year when you throw in this embacile's baggage. He'll never again have the success anywhere else he had in Pittsburgh. I said that when he left and I stand by it now. And when he starts losing a step or two as they all do, he'll look below average in a hurry.

Enjoy watching the Steelers in the playoffs, Mikey!

Here's his post game "interview". His teammate does all the talking for him. It's pretty weird.

That interview was pretty funny but if I was that team mate I'd have told him to find some other puppet to do his dirty work for him. Boy the Steelers certainly made the right decision on that idiot !

Miami was probably one of the worst teams for him to go to, in terms of character development.

Agree with everything else that's been said in the thread - while every so often Wallace will make a great catch, he hasn't warranted his money so far at all. A shame for his career, a bonus for us.

I think he's related to Cody. Hence how he does that trick with Brandon Gibson.

Well, he at least has one guy looking out for him. Should probably make sure he gets a little extra money for New Years if he keeps his job in Miami.

Letting Wallace go and locking up AB was the best decision of Colbert's career.
