Haley has done a tremendous job of achieving balance on offense. The Steelers are the FIRST TEAM IN HISTORY to have a 4,500 yard passer, 1,500 yard receiver and 1,300 yard rusher. In addition to that, I like what he's done with the development of Wheaton and Bryant and the resurgence of Heath. I'm worried Haley may be a hot head coaching candidate in the off season.

I saw an article the other day talking about guys that might be coaching next year and thankfully he wasn't on the list. Maybe his reputation needs to be restored a little. I don't care what people think about him. I just want him to keep those numbers coming and if we can smooth over the line a little more I see no reason why they can't.

If the team ever fixes their starting field position, then this team will be lights out with Haley. Too often we are driving the longer distance to the oppositions starting field position. The number of plays required with his offense simply can't handle the number of snaps it takes to put the ball in the endzone. The redzone offense is getting better but if they are able to run one or two less plays to put points on the board by taking away the extra yards required, it will be even better.
I do like the play selection and the freedom to let Ben change plays based on what he sees at the LOS.

That comes with a better defense. It sucks that the offense is finally reaching its potential while the defense is in the depths of a rebuilding mode. If they could get everything clicking together this would be a championship caliber team. Frustrating.

Reminds me of golf. You rarely ever get every aspect of your game to come together during the same round. Drive lights out one round but can't putt for ****...or you're slicing everything into the woods off of the tee but one putting every green. :frustrated:

Can Bell get 159 yards and Ben get 365 in this last game?

Always possible for both. But it will depend on the D. If they hold down the Bengals, I don't see Ben throwing it enough to get 365. If we get into a shootout, then I'd say both are a good shot.

Unfortunately probably not. Maybe one of them can but not both.

Of course his Offense works . He knows his job and understands exploiting a defense . He has all the skill on his offense they just need to listen and execute .....

It seems our bad starting field position often occurs the next series after the offense goes three and out.

They spent a 3rd rounder to address this very thing. Hopefully Dri will have adjusted to the speed of the game by next year and start providing some big returns next season.
