Seems like we don't need them anymore and there more of a liability at this point in their career

They should join the Coaching staff right now and just keep their pads in case of emergency .

Yes, at least I hope so. Troy is one of my favourite players of all time, but he's done. It's time to hang them up and move on from those guys

You can't hide at the positions they play, you will be exposed.

Taylor looked fine before he broke his forearm. I don't like his rock hands, but Blake scared me today. In the first half he was getting picked on a lot. Give him much respect after he suddenly seemed to shut his side down. He is definitely improving! I still believe Ike starts, especially in the playoffs. Troy would also be a very nice addition if the DL can continue pressuring QBs. That's when he's at his best. QBs are more worried about the line then Troy at that point, however, it seems as if they don't get any pressure he gets exposed. As does most of the DBs.

Ike never looked fine..But I think he would be better to count on in a playoff game but I say that with reservations since I don't know Blake at all. Maybe he can be a calm and collected individual.

I think you can't go wrong with Troy being there. He may be slower than he was but a slow Troy (with his natural ball hogging abilities) are still the best choice.

Both Ike and Troy would still be good as a nickle back, but I'm not sure either would take the demotion, and I don't think the Steelers would pay that kind of money for second line players.

With that said we still need someone to fill in, and at this point, I like Troy better than Mitchell.
