Gay, McCain and Blake

Agree. Gay has developed into very good corner and has the best ball skills of any of our DBs. McCain and Blake are small, but they are aggressive and always seem to be competing. Not sure what's going on with Cortez Allen. He's one of the most tentative DBs I can remember seeing in a long time. I don't know if he just plays that way or if his confidence is just shaken. Shark just needs to stay healthy and DL has to figure our a way to get him some meaningful playing time. The jury is still out on Mitchell but I'm not giving up on him.

Having said that, we still need to draft 3 to 4 DBs in 2015.

 

They are serviceable for depth but I really wish we'd get our acts together in the secondary. I really like McCain and just think that he plays with heart. We've scored what like 4 tds on d this year and all four have came from McCain and Gay haven't they?

 

2 corners and at least 1 safety?

I think this group is playing better every week. I still think our biggest trouble is the safety spot. hopefully the shark will get more playing time down the stretch to get ready for playoffs and next year. at least one safety and one corner in the draft and possibly one free agent.

blake , even on that last TD for Atl. still had good coverage on that receiver. that was just a perfect placement on the pass.

 

I see them drafting at least 2 corners and 1 safety as well. Also, bringing in some undrafted free agents and free agents would help to.

The secondary should be a priority in the offseason, they still don't know what they have in Cortez, Shamarko.
