Im sure it has been stated but it really sucks when you realize that all of our losses this year have been to teams with a .500 record or worse.

Not true, they lost to Bal and Cle who are above 500.

tThe 5 losses are to 3 losing team and 2 winning teams.
The 7 wins are against 3 losing teams 3 winning teams and 1 .500 team.

And now those losses to common opponents and in conference has pitt sitting in the 10th seed position, Miami did a leap frog over all the 7-5 teams to the 6 seed with their win last night, if pitt loses sunday they will pretty much lose any hope to become a wildcard....

Actually I think the seeding is based on our tie with Balt & Cleveland. If we weren't tied with them, we'd be 6th or 7th based on our superior AFC Conf record.

But both Bal and Cle were .500 or below when we lost to them. Bal was 0-1 and Cle was 2-2

Miami has a 6-3 conf record at the moment too, and would edge the Steelers on common opponents in any case.

As long as there isn't a 3 way tie in the AFCN, the Steelers are in pretty good shape tiebreaker wise, due to conf record.
