    I literally just saw a stat that said we have a 20% chance of making the playoffs. That must mean we have an 80% chance of NOT making the playoffs. But I guess in the words of Lloyd Christmas "SO YOU'RE TELLIN' ME THERE'S A CHANCE?!"

    This week's game is pretty much a must-win, as are the home games against KC and Cinci. It's hard to believe that we should be rooting for the Ravens, but I guess that's the way the tiebreakers fall.

    Looking ahead we Better worry about the Falcon game, they just tore up the cards number 3 ranked defense with Julio Jones, and Jackson ran for over 100 yards against their number 1 ranked run defense, going on the road against a desperate 5 win falcon team is the usual scenario for the steelers to lose, and Ryan will pick this secondary apart, mark my words dont put this game in your win column yet and we could be looking at a 3 game losing streak...

    What's really sad is that we're going against a 5-win Falcon team that is LEADING their division with 5 wins.

    And another sad note? If we had gotten our heads out of our collective arses and found any consistency in any given quarter, that division might have ended up with a 4-12 division winner by season's end! Crazy...

    I've already chalked up the Atlanta game as a loss. I just want to beat Cinci twice and KC. If we do that, our chances are very good of making the playoffs due to conference and division tiebreakers. We're going to have at least one more clunker game. That's how this team rolls. I am hoping that we pick the right game to play the clunker.

    Pressure Dalton and it really doesn't matter. That's the key. Pressure him, and he'll toss the keys to victory right into our laps. Don't pressure him, and Green and co. will be too much for our DBs. Green can have 200 yards, and we'll still win if we force Dalton into some of his boneheaded pressure mistakes. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    Ike has held Green to something like 8 catches in the last 3 games. Question is how effective will he be after missing most of the season, got burnt bad Sunday.

    Each of the last 3 games, Ike has been able to be physical on AJ Green and make him a non-factor most of the time.
    With that cast on his arm, I wonder if he takes the same approach.

    If being physical on AJ Green has resulted, someone else has to play that role. His name? Cortez Allen. He's the only corner with the size-ability to assume that role, besides Taylor.

    So I'm expecting to see a comeback performance from him this Sunday.
    If we can stop the run, and pressure Dalton, this one could go our way. Otherwise...
