Big Ben for Aaron Rogers

before the season, I thought about trading Big Ben for Aaron Rogers (straight up deal). but I wanted to give Big Ben another shot at leading the Steelers this season, but I'm starting to feel good about trading him for Aaron Rogers. Rogers is a great QB and is much more consistent than Big Ben.

But I also realize that Packers will NOT trade Rogers for Big Ben. I think Rogers is the top QB in the league right now.

I'm more in favor of Ben just becoming more consistent.

Is this a fantasy thread? I mean am I ACTUALLY just imagining that a thread exists about trading Ben for Rodgers? OR does this thread ACTUALLY exist??? So if this turns out to be a REAL thread and not just one I've imagined I'm just gonna say that Rodgers would say "I already play behind a horrible line and there's no WAY I would play behind BEN'S line". But if it turns out that this thread is a figment of my imagination I will say that I want to trade Ben for Raphael because he's my favorite Ninja Turtle and would bring some real nastiness to the team since he's the muscle of the Turtles. I also would like to have Scrooge McDuck as GM since he's my favorite character of all time ever and he would be able to manage the cap VERY effectively. We would be awesome you guys! MAN I hope this thread turns out to be real!

At this point I'd trade Tomlin for just a Fathead of Mike McCarthy. Our record against bottom feeders wouldn't be any worse.

 

LOL! My bet is the fathead would be an instant improvement.

We already know what garbage Ben will bring, it wouldn't be dirty Laundry starting it would be Gradkowski. At least he knows how to look around for other options instead of trying to force everything. I've had it with Ben, all he is doing is dropping us down in the draft with his little left over sparks here and there.

 

Gradkowski is so good it's no wonder he starts so many games for.................

 

Ok lets keep Ben in there, he's doing so great and lets keep on complaining about the other positions, when Ben is 80% of the problem for playing like crap. He doesn't have the same defence that used to help him get out of his mistakes like in the past. Ben was always average, now he's garbage.

 

That game winning throw in the SB was pretty average. So is joining the over 500 yd in a game club. Not to mention being the only one to ever throw 12 TD passes in 2 games. Average, average, average. We'd be better off with Tebow!

I don't think "average" means what you think it means.

And the only time Ben is 80% of the problem is in backrooms in bars with drunken college aged groupies.

 

Is he consistent? no he isn't.... he'll have his moments here and there ,but as for today, not what happened 10 years ago, the guy is garbage. Of course this team will hold onto him, and over pay him until the very end, like they're doing with Ike, Troy, Gay , and who ever else is just hanging on by a thread.

I say trade him to the Cards where he can be with his lover Mr Bubble Arians, Bruce would make the Cards over pay for this Bum. Ben could rebuild this team by going there

 

He's average! He's garbage! He's 6th in the NFL in passer rating???
