Art: You have the talent on offense to be putting up big numbers. What is going wrong?
Mike: Well, our red zone performance has been lacking, and key turnovers have dealt us challenges.
Art: Blah, blah, blah, But what is WRONG?
Mike: We are not playing as a team, but more like a bunch of individuals. We are not often on the same page.
Art: Why not?
Mike: Well, Ben and Haley aren’t getting along.
Art: Aren’t you the boss? Fix it.
Mike: They both have such big egos. I can’t influence them much.
Art: Isn’t that your job?
Mike: I am trying.
Art: Try harder. Get this offense fixed. I know the talent on defense is still developing or getting old, but they seem rarely on the same page.
Mike: Lebeau’s defense is so complicated . . .
Art: Stop. Aren’t you the boss?
Mike: But he is such a legend, I can’t do much.
Art: So what do you do anyway? Don’t answer that – it will only get you in more trouble. Why do we have so much trouble defeating poor teams?
Mike: The league has such parity, there are really no poor teams.
Art: Except us when we play teams with lousy records. That record is embarrassing. This is a class organization. Even when we used to have a coach that spit, it never was this embarrassing.
Mike: What do you want me to do?
Art: Win a Superbo . . . Ah, never mind. Get out of here.

I really think you hit the nail on the head as far as their issues and how Tomlin addresses them (or doesn't).

Mike: With all due respect, Mr Rooney. If i was the boss, wouldn't I have have been the one that hired these guys?
