An emotionally-driven run like for Bettis?

    We have a bunch of old-timers for whom this is likely their last season-Harrison, Troy, Keisel, Ike. I have fond memories of the team pulling together to give Bettis his last shot at a Super Bowl. Do you think this team could rally for the old guys to give them one more run? I think we have the talent, at least on offense, if we could play consistently and with some passion, for a run to be possible. Could the passion come from dedication to the veterans on their last legs?

    Wouldn't that be cool.

    We don't have the players to do this but we'll just keep blaming the coach for poor play calling and clock management

    Bettis is a future HOF that never had won a SB and was about to hang it up...

    We don't have anyone like that on this team right now.

    That would be great!!!! only thing that would be missing is emotional leaders this Team has none. Who do you see on this team that is a clear lock for being that guy whos going to motivate this team????? That team was laced with leadership both vocallyand physically

    If they can't get it together to win against the sub-par teams that have dominated them, or just work harder because they're professional athletes, I don't think going for an emotional series of wins is in the cards for these guys.
