This team is to inconsistent to be in any kind of playoffs. Ben is only 36% today so far. Did he not show up for practice. He is suppose to be holding this team together and it might be a bad day for him in front of his home crowd but it is apparent that he is unprepared for this game and we are playing down AGAIN to a lesser team. Coaching needs a lot to be desired along with the general attitude of the team and coaching staff.[IMG]

Stick a fork in this team. That little three game stretch was a total fluke. This team needs a lot of changes and it needs to happen soon. Blow it up, I'm ready for it.

Ben is the one leading up to the game talking about every game is a must win, and he plays like crap.

Maybe the injured hand was a factor. But he looked off all day.

His passes were high before that injury. He's just having a bad game. And when your best player is off and the rest of the team is average at best, it makes for a long day for us fans. At least now we can stop dreaming of the playoffs.

Maybe. More likely, the team will do just enough to keep us in the hunt, thus prolonging the agony...

Ben can take a walk if he wants a big extension, most inconsistent QB I have ever watched play

Had a bad feeling about this game, Ben played like hot garbage and the secondary still sucks. Pretty much sums it up.

I remember saying in week one that I actually hoped we could just hold the saints to less than a thousand points. Well we did so at least it wasn't ALL bad. LOL.

Ben's throws were high but a lot of passes should have been caught, Bryant has a TD in his hands and dros it, the difference between pro bowl recievers and run of the mill guys are the catches they make in traffic, our receivers need to be alone to make a grab.

At least the Browns, and Ravens lost too and we almost added the Bengals to the lost column. We'll bounce back next week!

I hope so. It is the nature of this team, and this season, that the Steelers will win next week. I do believe that if they win out they will win the division.

I said once and I will say it again...this team is undiscipline under Tomlin....we don't hold on to the correct players and develop them from the draft....and finally, what separates the bradys, peytons,Rodgers, and Bree's from ben is CONSISTENCY!!

He had another one of his "Ben" days as everyone has said. But, until we draft another true future QB this team will end up like we were before he got here, nowhere...

We will go as he goes so, they need to surround him with the best cast they can. We have a great RB, WR duo, and still solid TE.

OBVIOUSLY, coaching is not of the best surrounding cast. If the Rooney's gamble (which isn't their nature) and bring in a new regime they have three years to make run with this core of skill players.

They won't and we have Tomlin for as long as Ben is here. They will play this team out and hope something comes together. We have an outside shot at a miracle turn of events or 3 - 4 years of this same ole ole in my opinion.

    Obviously...

This. Let's not give Heath Miller a pass. Yes Ben's throws were high after the hand injury, but, they're were quite a few that were just receiver drops. This Defense lost this game, and wonder boy Ike "Toast" Taylor had a big hand in it.

I agree. There were very catchable balls not being caught. And after a solid opening for the first 15 mins, the defense just seemed to fall apart once their run game got going.

Luckily, we play a team with a winning record next week.

He did tear it up in garbage time! Seriously, what does Haley have against the no huddle? Should be running it all game long.

Do you really think he's worth the bank breaking extension he's going to want?

If Ben calls the plays during the no huddle and Haley called the plays to start the game then I agree with you. Of course, this is not all on Haley, players need to play.

I agree and I am not defending Ben. He had a bad game, again. I just think we are looking at a team that is not good enough to make it playing straight up so why not play a fast tempo offense like the Eagles are doing? We have the skill players to do it and the QB likes the no huddle. It also simplifies what the defense can do against you because they can't sub players in and out.

I think I read somewhere the reason they don't run the no huddle is because Bryant and Wheaton was up to speed on the calls. But I agree we need to speed it up especially when we are down.
