That Broncos team was pretty good, just not the QB :lolol:

The guy did have a knack for winning though, we're not the only team they beat, they did make the playoffs.

    It's all my fault guys.

I made a pledge after picking the Texans over the Steelrs that if the Steelers beat the Texans, I would pick against them every single week. They won all 3.

This week, I got distracted and failed to put in the pick against them in the "Predict the score" thread.

The football gods were not pleased and cuffed me for my indiscretion.

    It won't happen again. ;)

I said 11-5 before the season started.

I still stand by that. :)

Just another game lost to a bottom feeder

-Ben and Brown and Wheaton did not have a good game. They must didn't practice this week.
-Defensive gameplan and Offensive gameplan stunk
-I hope we can replace Ramon Foster next year
    -Cam Thomas still stinks
-If Dick Lebeau retires and Rex Ryan gets fired, We should be calling him in to fill the vacancy.
-Our defense isn't as good at the previous three games indicated.
-What is this defense going to look like without Harrison, Taylor, Polamalu, and Kiesel?

I get the sense, and it seems you do too, that Rex Ryan could make this current D better. This is NOT an untalented team.

Yep. What path they take to get there, have no idea, never thought they'd take the path they did today :lolol:

The loss is exactly what they deserved today with their play and preparation for the game. There was never a sense of urgency from the team starting in the second quarter when they were down big. Why take the play clock down on every snap. Even the hurry up at the end of the game was slow. They have an attitude that is not about winning if there is adversity in
the game. I feel this team is not about teamwork in their play to win and more about personal pride in games. This is why the get up against teams like Baltimore.

On the coaching side the preparation for games played against weaker opponent's in the last few years is not good. I hope it is being seen and changes are made. We can talk about player execution but in the end both are on the coaching staff to address and fix. It starts at the top with the Rooney's and hopefully they have had enough.

Today's loss in my opinion was huge for our playoff picture. We dropped back to 3rd place in the division, a loss to an AFC team, and most likely limited our ability to have a home game in the playoffs. The difference between 3 or 4 loses at this point is big for the playoff picture. As a fan I am tired of hoping for game outcomes in the last few weeks to help the Steelers when they don't take care of business in these games.

I don't think he would make it any worst. Plus I believe he would bring an attitude to this defense and a mean streak. Additionally, he's not afraid of bringing the blitz and designing blitz packages that usually get's to the quarterback. And, he has always had a pretty good defense regardless of the record.

Four turnovers and only gave up 20 points. The offense made so many mistakes today. IF they play their game we don't even talk about the defense.

Ben/Tomlin seem to have one or more games every year where they lose to someone that doesn't even belong on the field with them.

We've got three games left with sub-.500 teams. It's going to be hard for these guys to go 5-1.

Tomlin said that James Harrison was the intended target on that goal line play.and Ben says he wasn't supposed to be on the field. Can we get on the same page?

I agree. First of all we should not have differed the kickoff. They should have come out passing being aggressive and scored quick. I believe putting this team behind right away would have changed everything.

Most weeks it's difficult to tell exactly what they do in practice.

This! We see flashes of the ability of this team. We've seen flashes of it for the past 3 years. A lack of talent is perhaps a problem in a few areas, but it's not the reason the entire team stinks 10 games per year. If it was a lack of talent we wouldn't have been able to play the way we did last week. We have talent, we just need to use it better.

Well isn't that just wonderful. Such a serious lack of direction on this team.

One thing that has to be adjusted is Wheaton is not a #2 Martavis Bryant, is a solid 2. Wheaton was all over the field ,not on the same page as Ben. Wheaton will come along but I think in the slot with some speed.

Tomlins record is 1-8 when playing teams on the road with a winning % below .200.
