what are we doing differently the past 2 weeks?

I thought you were kidding initially about texting Tomlin. I texted him the other day and was SHOCKED when I got a reply

 

my fear is will allen. he gets dinged up a lot. with troy out and shark with very little practice, and having trouble staying healthy going back through last year, we could be seeing golden on the field more.

I've not seen much from golden playing defense. that's a big worry, and right now may be the time to start showing cortez allen the safety spot. allen can tackle and with him facing the play I think he can make more plays in pass protection. better than golden I believe. Mitchell can handle SS duties.

all these concerns at safety, plus inside LB and OLB injuries don't help our run stopping ability, nor pass defense. sending the house can leave a lot of open territory for teams to exploit right now. silverback is looking good right now but we have a long way to go still. we need some injured guys back and mixing in soon to keep this going defensively.

as far as the o-line, they are looking good, not great, but good and it's got a lot to do with our TE's though. we need spaeth to stay healthy too. bell too. to sum it up, injuries need to be kept at a minimum the rest of the way. we need all hands on deck for this second half run. go stillers.
