Bradshaw lost me when he brought up Brady and Manning, perhaps the 2 best QB's of all time. Otherwise I agree with him. Eli is the 3rd best QB from that draft class. I think Rivers is a better QB than Eli is.

he is saying they can't take pressure, which I agree with.

He is right about that too. When the Pats o-line was playing bad this year Brady was having a really hard time. If not for Ben's pure athleticism he would probably be on a "where are they now?" list. It is his ability to play with guys in his face, at his feet, hanging from his pads, and everything else that has made him who he is today. People might say that he's not as good of a "quarterback" but he is definitely the superior "athlete" to any of them.

Can any QB outside of a very select few though? Does it affect Brady and Manning more than Montana, Marino, Rodgers, Brees, etc? Pressure disrupts every QB, even Ben, although it affects him less than others.

I agree 100%! I've always thought Eli was a whiny-butt, spoiled rich kid who had his daddy fight his battles for him. He just sounds whiny when he talks. He also got extremely LUCKY if you ask me in his two Super Bowl wins but I'm glad he did considering who they were playing.

Rogers has been sacked a lot in his career and I think he plays pretty well under pressure. He has good legs and throws well on the run. I'd say he's the best under pressure of the ones you listed.

LOL! Peyton is just as whiny though. He cries for flags and even calls out the dang scoreboard operator!

I thought at first when he called out the scoreboard operator that he was joking. I thought that was ridiculous. He probably cost some bloke making minimum wage his job with those comments. I still like Peyton way better than Eli though.

true, but that was the compliment he was paying to Ben. The irony of that is, the Colts game showed how much better Brno can play in a clean pocket.

He's definitely the better qb and it's not even close. Remember the year he called out their kicker and we wound up beating them in the playoffs? Maybe this is history repeating itself but on a much lower scale? LOL. Like if we play there in the playoffs the operator will mess with the play clock to get revenge on peyton? LOL.

Yeah he was a major idiot. He is still one of my favorite kickers of all time though. For selfish reasons of course. LOL.

But Brady NEVER sees consistent pressure. This is what is hilarious. The worst Brady ever faces is moderate pressure, and even that disrupts him, as it did in SB XLII. Sorry, but he was not under duress in that game at all and still stunk up the place. Point is, Brady's career has been built off an o-line that consistently gives him more time than any QB I have ever seen play the game. And if he gets even the slightest bit of pressure, he looks downright David Carr-like.

But Brady and Manning have always had quality O lines, and manning does lay down when on the rare occasion his protection breaks down, put him and brady behind the O lines Ben has had to play behind and see if they could have the success they have had....

I have always hated Brady, but over the past 2-3 years I have gained more respect for him because the guy simply continues to perform no matter who you put around him. Also for Brady and Manning you have to keep in mind that the play calling and adjustments they make pre-snap may have a lot to do with them having eons of time. I agree that Brady is pretty David Carr-like when real pressure is put on him, but there are very few teams over the year that can generate that absolute pocket collapsing pressure.
