I see all the love spreading around but not much love for the Coaches, I think they did a great job today. Mike Tomlin and Company will be around for years to come.

Amazing what two wins will do. Like Chuck Noll always said "your critics are always right, the only way you shut them up is to win".

Have to give a ton of credit to Haley. When Indy's number 1 corner went down he put the ball in Ben's hands and let him win the game.

the coaches kept the foot on the gas pedal.. hailey opened up the playbook, and lebeau kept up the pressure..
tomlin gave some of the young guys a chance to shine
great job on their part, but at the same time, all this is really their way of saving their jobs

I really think that had something to do with the offense's explosion. Seems like when our defense plays fast and loose, and not conservative in order to "not give up the big play", our offense responds in kind.

I hope D.L. keeps the pedal pressed firmly down for the rest of the year and we just attack everyone we face.

They are on a break ... until next week. Hopefully our play vs the Ravens doesn't invite a whole new round of them.

I gave Tomlin honorable mention in the Game Ball thread for having the team ready to play 60 minutes of football.

They sure put on a clinic. They were fired up yesterday. Props for sure to the coaches.

I honestly believe in some of the games its the wrong personnel in at the wrong times. They were rotating guys all over the place yesterday and it seemed to cause alot of confusion for Luck and company. Yesterday they had the perfect mix. Keep the guys fresh and have the right player in sure makes a difference. Got to go back and watch but I think they were playing Woirlds on more blitzing instead of dropping into coverage. It fits him nicely .

Yes, the rotation on both sides of the ball was helping.

When I see how well we executed all game I go back to some of the key miscues earlier on in the season and wonder if they could have changed the direction of those games. Sure, at times we've looked just flat out awful, but this game reassures me that the talent is certainly there for us to do well this season.

Coaches definitely deserve a lot of credit for this game, as do the players for execution. But this game had a certain feel to it that we were going to stand on the throttle all game long and for that i give credit to our coaches. I hate playing not to lose instead of playing to win....if you know what i mean, lol.

I loved the "go for the throat" mentality. We HAD to have that mentality to win that game IMO, and that's what we brought. :applaud:

I think you're right. I think he's clearly our most dynamic rusher, and he's been just a hair short on many pressures this season. He can do things to get to the QB that our other rushers can't do (yet or anymore.) It's a shame that this is likely his last season with us.

Colts would have blown right by them if they tried to sit on the lead, glad Tomlin kept his foot on the pedal.

Cough cough maybe cause we won? though will only take the next loss and the sound of the drums will begin. If they continue to stack wins i'm pretty sure the suggestion of appling the axe will cease. As fans we are still riding the coaster and for some will take a bit more convincing.. for me anyways. I really was encouraged by yesterday's game let's see if it sticks!!

I was shocked when I saw the score after I returned from a family vacation. Was in the air for the first half and couldn't get radio for the 2nd half. I plan on watching tonight. The hope is they continue to stack wins. My frustration has been they have not been playing up to what I thought there talent level was. I would guess that changed yesterday.

Looking forward to watching this tonight!

Biggest props to Munchak the O-line coach (I haven't seen the Steelers O-Line look this good in more than a year) HOWEVER while its been a good couple of victories I NEED TO SEE US DO IT AGAINST A DIVISION RIVAL. The Ravens are bigger, stronger, and meaner than the Colts on BOTH sides of the ball. If we can keep up the D Pressure we can make a difference BUT these penalties have to stop. IF and its a BIG IF the O-Line can protect like they did yesterday then our offense will TROUNCE the Ravens.....but when was the last time we TROUNCED the Ravens. I HAVE YET TO SEE JASON WORILDS HAVE A BIG GAME AGAINST THE BIG BOYS. I hope Shamarko is able to practice because I believe that he (in rotation of course) along with Mccullers in the middle (in obvious run situations) CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

Yesterday I loved the mix of plays on offense and defense (penalties killed on defense though). THE ONLY play I disagreed with was with 5 minutes and up by 10 we went for it on 4th down instead of kicking the field goal which would have put us up by 2 touchdowns (Its funny but I get the feeling that if that pass in the endzone doesn't work and Indy winds up tying the game people on this board would have CRUXIFIED Tomlin & Haley) It was a ballsy call though and I respect that. NOW LETS GO KICK SOME RAVEN A$$

If you're referring to me, I think message boards are far more useful to analyze what's going wrong than to just celebrate. There are only so many different ways to say "yay"

And I maintain my point that if the fundamental issues remain, and if we finish outside of the playoffs tomlin and lebeau need to go. Obviously doesn't seem as likely after the past 2 weeks.

I will give props to Lebeau for the turnovers but still think that we're fundamentally too weak in pass D and give up those chunks and chunks of big yardage too routinely

The knock on tomlin has never been that he can't get his guys to show up for big games.

Things went well, but I'm not fully sold on 2+ more years of Tomlin. I would be very happy to be proven wrong
