I'm not arguing the stats or the receivers. I was just mentioning why people are making a big deal about Moye. He's a big body and people think that's all we need.

Personally, I think a tall receiver will only make the Steelers marginally better in the red zone. The red zone issues are due to other factors. Hines Ward is 6'0" and saw plenty of end zone. It's not the receiver's height that makes all the difference. It makes some difference, but it doesn't make red zone TDs a lock.

I'm just saying he should have gotten more opportunities in the RZ.

I have no idea about any of the WRs, outside of AB, on our roster.

Why not Moye, or DHB for that matter?
JB has shown me nothing and Wheaton's unproven.

    Let's see more of DHB

We keep having 8-8 seasons (or worse), we'll be on the clearance rack at Goodwill!

Still say that Moye never got the good chance to see what he had. Especially when you see the drops of JB and Wheaton. If he had the same number of chances and the same drops as these guys then I would say okay.

Enough of the blocking ability of JB, if just want blocking and not receiving then get a fullback or somebody else.

Also Moye did have only 2 catches but he was only thrown to 3 or 4 times. All were saying here he did not get a fair shake and with our trouble in the red zone with our midget receivers, he might of helped. We don't know that now and with our talent evaluation lately I'm not sure we did the right thing with Moye. Time will tell.

I certainly didn't see enough of Moye to have an opinion one way or the other.

Last year Cotch was here, where was Moye going to play? He didn't get snaps because there were better players ahead of him and this year he couldnt even make the 53.

JB is not playing only because he can block. Not sure where that's coming from?

A few post were saying the JB is playing and starting over lance Moore because he can block. I think that's crazy reason for a receiver to start.

Good question how many drops has JB had so far.?

Charlie Batch has flat out said during Cooler Talk that JB is getting so much time because of his blocking abilities. Although, I don't know if I should believe him since he doesn't read this board. LOL.

And how's the red zone efficiency been this year? When is the last time to saw one of receivers go up a catch a ball in the back of the end zone.? You see that with other teams almost every game. Your not going to see that with these receivers.
