Not only that but he is the 3rd WR, don't know why anyone is comparing him to AB. He is coming along fine, JB will be a good possession receiver for us, you watch.

Not in the redzone and that is the point!

I hope you are right Blast because so far the only positive anyone can say about him is that he blocks. Not a glowing endorsement for a WR.

He has 2 catches in his career. Hardly enough to deem him a redzone threat.

You're the ringleader of the doom and gloom brigade. According to you this team has a abundance of talent, the coaching staff is the only thing holding them back.

It's a deal! Once the guy who sent me an email from Nigeria promising me 3 billion dollars FINALLY gets back to me, I'll pass some on!

That actually is a pretty good endorsement for him in THIS system though. That's what I'm saying and I think that is what BF is saying.

I know a guy that told some "ministry" that was promising him $10,000 if he would send them $100. So he said "when you get the $10,000 let me know and I'll then trade you the $100". LOL!

They had fumbleitis that game, what was MT supposed to do?

Also, Moyes lack of playing time couldnt have anything to do with ability could it? Maybe he couldnt get any separation, maybe he didn't know his assignments, maybe his blocking sucked, maybe all of the above. Why do you automatically assume it was because of a drop?

This team has enough talent to win NOW! And we do win every other week and that's not good enough. And according to the recent poll conducted on this board, more of our board members feel that the HEAD COACH is the single biggest problem with the team. Admittedly, we have many issues contributing to our underwhelming performance the last several seasons but it starts with Tomlin! Take your rose colored glasses off and you might see that.

But why take your top two RBs out and let an undersized rookie carry the load for essentially the entire game, Blast? Let 'em ride the pine for a series or two and then put them back in.

And maybe you're right about Moye which leads me to ask the question, why did he make the team in the first place if your assumptions above are true?

I would be very curious to see the opinions about Moye if he didn't go to Penn State. To me, he was a hard worker but with a limited ceiling. He was pretty slow and not very athletic....not that you have to be, but it helps. People might say that Hines wasn't athletic and was slow, but he was pretty quick in his routes and was very powerful for being only 6 feet.

I liked Moye, but I like our current guys better. Brown/Wheaton/Bryant/Moore/J.Brown are all better and have higher ceilings.

He didn't look slow when he chased the Carolina DB down from a standing start in last year's preseason game. I'm not saying he has the ability to be the next John Stallworth, but he made the team last year so why not give him more of an opportunity to succeed, especially in the red zone where we hardly ever saw him after the drop against Cincy?

No no- you didn't cause any drama at all. Thanks for wishing me luck though. With people on here thinking that they know far more than everyone else, I'll need it.

Hard to have catches when you're standing next to Richard Mann.

I'm sure he got the opportunities the coaching staff felt he deserved. At the end of the day the professionals made the right choice. If Moye goes on to have a good career then it can be questioned , but until then two lousy catches isn't enough.

Same can be said for the water boy too! Moye got his shot in practice and in games and it wasn't close to good enough.

That's all right- I think I will hang around. I was looking for fans as passionate as I am and it looks like I found them so I shouldn't complain.

He did put them back in and both fumbled again. At that point, I don't blame him for sticking with Rainey. Shouldn't have been running him up the middle but thats on Haley.

Somebody had to win, he had just a smidge better camp then JB. Moye was insurance, thats it. AB, Sanders and Cotch were our guys, who who out of that group was he supposed to take playing time from?

Because a large number of fans believe a tall receiver is the automatic answer to the red zone woes the Steelers are experiencing.

He did have a total of two catches for his entire career and he's tall. Way to go Tomlin.
