McCullers Not an Option for Houston?

McCullers is not an option this week. Especially not this week.

 

Because Cam Thomas is THE MAN!!!!!

 

he just aint ready......he needed a lot of work on technique coming into season.

 

Tomlin just said in his press conference that he will be an option with McLendon out.

This article says McCullers is possible if McLendon can't go.

 

Yup that is why I was confused. I read that he was indeed an option with McLendon being out..

 

They'll probably put him on waivers because the waterboy got crabs from sleeping with the wrong girl up in Shadyside and they need a waterboy really bad.

 

Technique or not he can't be worse than Cam Thomas!

Probably, Cam Thomas will move to NT and we'll get a taste of what Tuitt can do for us. Really huge test vs zone blocking and A Foster.
You get advantage having a faster, veteran NT in order to avoid getting zone-blocked, that's probably why they're saying McCullers is not an option.

 

I don't get the faster part about McCullers. From the eyeball test he was out there motoring during preseason!

 

don't be so sure.lol watch some of his games at tenn last year. he has potential down the road though

 

He needs to be an option. .... Cam Thomas couldn't penetrate a virgin, let alone a real o-line

Thomas was benched last season for ineffective play. I'm not sure why the Steelers thought he would be different here.

 

I just feel like we have to really bottom feed when it comes to the free agency market. We are as poor as Job's turkey. I've seen people in comments on articles I've read talking about how we need to pay more for our free agents but I just wonder where we are gonna get the money. Does anyone know what it would cost us to get rid of Thomas? Did we give him a lot of guaranteed money?

 

I don't know how fast he is, but he was certainly hustling.
