Yup it was Baltimore he took a huge hit and he hurt his hand in the Bucs game on Gilberts helmet.

I agree with the bad chemistry.

I am actually of the opinion, I might fire Colbert NOW. Right, smack dab in the middle of the season. This is actually a pretty slow time in a GM's "year".

A new GM could start the ball rolling for changes in our scouting staff and preparing next year's big board. A new GM could start to really evaluate this roster and see what needs to stay and go (including Roethlisberger). And last a new GM can try to make sense of this coaching staff and what changes really need to be made. Because I agree there are some real problems going on and the stress of losing is just making them all bubble up to the top.

I just think Haley is a big time distraction. Ben clearly is not on the same page as this guy. Yeah, maybe Ben needs to learn to play well with others, but he either doesn't want to with Haley or doesn't know how. Either way, its affecting the team. I also think Haley being forced on Tomlin was and still is an issue. This is where we need to start. Today.

I think a good dumpster fire could be good for the Steelers. It could make the Rooney's take a long hard look at the organization and every aspect of it and make the necessary changes to get this moving in the right direction. I am not sure if Tomlin is the right guy but if he has no say in his coordinators then he is a puppet head coach. I would like to see Tomlin get a chance to hire both his offensive and defensive coordinator of his choosing this off season. LeBeau hopefully will retire and Haley will be canned, sooner rather than later I hope...

It would certainly explain some of the accuracy issues that we've seen over the last few games.

Say it aint so Dobbler, I do not want to give our franchise QB up. I'm praying we pull our heads out and fix this. Something needs to be addressed with our play but I'm not ready to give Ban away.

This. More then the X's and O's, I simply don't think Haley is a good fit. I think he would have a hard time fitting in any where and even more so when you are forced on a HC and also asked to change a SB caliber QB's style of play.

I love that the Rooneys own the Steelers, wouldn't want any other but I think it was a big mistake forcing BA out and directing Haley here.

I ain't buying it. If it isn't on Twitter, it didn't happen.

Not the shoving, and not the report of it.

    Yeah, I'm thinking the same.

The suggestion that Ben is playing injured is slightly more credible, due to the evidence on the field. IMO that should be the focus of the story...

Agree...and for what it's worth, Ben ALWAYS plays injured. So what else is new?

I have to agree with you and who is this "guy" on ESPN? I cannot believe a story like that wouldn't have been all over the sporting news, Twitter and so on. I also don't believe that the organization would put up with the OC pushing the head coach around and keeping his job.

Agree! He has not been the same since that Upshaw hit in Baltimore. Smacking the hell out of his hand on the helmet was the icing on the cake...

Then they should run the damn ball if Ben is injured, the offense scoring only 10 points the last 2 games is unacceptable.

I would think this would be the case on many/most teams? It's an ego business.

It also doesn't have to be a bad thing. 84 Bears: Ditka and Ryan hated each other. They both admit that. Both also admit they would not have won a superbowl without each other.

Makes you wonder why a guy from USA Today knows this and none of our local pundits?
