What is the NUMBER ONE problem for this football team?

It won't surprise anyone that I believe the head coach is in way over his head. He can't seem to bring the individual parts of this team together as a cohesive unit and his players just don't seem to be responding to him. The team lacks discipline, they don't seem to have a purpose and the talent seems to be regressing or not developing at all. I'm afraid a loss like today is the beginning of a death spiral.

I realize the team has MANY warts right now, but if you had to pick JUST ONE as the primary issue, what would it be?

 

Coaching.

There are two coaching options up there.

 

Head coach? Coordinators? Assistant coaches? You could say all of the above, but looking for the board's opinion of the single biggest issue.

This has always been my position, to be honest, and it hasn't changed today.

To cite a single 'main' problem suggests that fixing it that will suddenly make us a convincing football team again. You could tick all of those, though, and still have some room. For example, we know we have talent at QB and WR, so why so many drops today? Why the overthrows? Why the pump-fakes when the pocket was collapsing? Why the botched FG attempt? Why could nobody mark Jordan Cameron?

Basically: everyone is not doing their job as well as they should be.

Lebeau for sure, but not Haley. Maybe. They're not scoring TDs but is it play calling (Haley) or execution (HC) or being undisciplined (HC and players) or just talent.
