Firing not necessary, strip down everything back to basics, no more exotic blitz schemes, basic defense, no more no huddle, snazzy offense, get back to basics, like scoring when you are three yards out. spoon feed these guys because they can't handle being treated like adults

If Tomlin is still the coach next year I think I'm done watching NFL. With all of the new rules and bad role models in the game, I am on the fence of not wanting to watch another game. Only thing keeping me here this season is being a Steeler fan..

I would do this and get back to running the ball, let Ben be a game manager.

Typical, it's a whooping and you keep your starters in to get injured in garbage time. Way to go coach

I wish we could see Tomlin get on a different bus for the trip home and not come back at all! He should never had been here and now he has disgraced our hallowed halls.

His "greatness" came from a left over Cowher team, we all knew it and yet the Rooney's wanted not a winning coach but someone who fit the bill of some other back door politically motivated agenda.

-this offense can not score. It doesn't have a play for the endzone.
-the defense can not stop the rollout play or the stretch play.
    -Cortez Allen is straight garbage
-Ben had a bad game or is our receivers just not good enough to get open.
-Our offensive play calling or philosophy just stinks.
-It's time to say goodbye to Troy Polumolu(sp).
-It's time to say goodbye to James Harrison
-It's time to say goodbye to Brett Keisel. Even though he is our best lineman.
-It's time to say goodbye to Heath Miller.

Tomlin: "We've got to swallow this one and we will."

He should be swallowing his own teeth if this continues the rest of the season.

Is that what he said, or your prediction? Because, that's exactly the type of thing that I would predict he'd say. "Obviously we own this." Well, we now own the basement of the AFCN, and it's going to be hard real estate to sell.

I hate to say it, but Troy needs to be a backup at this point. He's guessing like he always has been, but he's been wrong a lot this season. And he doesn't have the speed to make up for the mistake anymore.

I'll tell you what, Tomlinisms when you are doing well are fine but when your losing the whole "we own this" "we put that on tape" "obviously" "we swallow this" gets old so fast .

Browns have outscored us 55-10 since we led them 27-3 in the first half of the first game.

Thankfully, I'm traveling today and didn't get to watch the game, but I was about ready to puke every time Eric Waddle said on ESPN Radio "this is not like a Mike Tomlin coached team, no fight"!

Hey Waddle, this is EXACTLY like a Mike Tomlin team, NO FIGHT!!!!!

And said draft pick will come to Pittsburgh and really get coached up by this current coaching staff, now won't it???

I wish I could at least hope for that, but we will probably win just enough to put us out of the best LT in the draft range. Even if we picked number 1, I have no faith in Colbert anymore to pick what we need.

they probably will mess that up to,they usually do. When I first looked at our schedule it looked favorable now I'm not sure we win 4 more games. Sad to say.

This team is emotionally DEAD. And that is Tomlin's fault. Impeach him NOW. The locker room needs an attitude adjustment and they are probably just as tired of Tomlin as we are.

Tomlin and his cliches...ugh. He can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. I'm tired of the apathy.

In all seriousness, let Dick retire, hire Rex Ryan as D-coordinator ( he will be fired) and somebody good as O-coordinator. Tomlin is not good enough to overcome old schemes and generally bad scheming. And Colbert has not had the home run draft in the last few years to overcome our bad coaching either. Troy needs to be replace as soon as Shamarko is healthy, and we fans need to brace ourselves for a long fall. I thought with our offensive talent we would make the playoffs, but not after this debacle.
