10 lousy points, really 3 against a defense missing starters and others banged up. Whitehurst put up more points last week. Embarassing and unacceptable. Major changes in personnel or philosophy are the only thing that can reverse a trend that has been the norm for a few years running. You can't really blame it on the OL anymore the run game is solid and the pass protection has improved. I'm just so frustrated...

I really don't know where this Yinz crap comes from.

I grew up in the East Liberty/Homewood then Penn Hills area and never heard it in daily talk.

Damn, that was a hell of a way to work to win a game for the Packers. Can we study the last minute of that game all week long?

That is how a team works together toward a wanted goal. That is what we need to get back to working toward a common goal. Winning!

Way to keep your starters in during garbage minutes. The rate this game went, were lucky we didn't get more people hurt.

We got records to break and stats to pad. I wish they cared as much about improving the redzone offense, tackling, and pass defense as they do numbers.

Got home. Read the rest of this thread.

I see I missed nothing good.

    I'll summarize my thoughts:

Fire Tomlin, LeBeau, and Haley. Tonight. Allow the rest of the staff to ride out the season, but then they're all gone too. (Unless they show they deserve a job)

Trade Ben to any team stupid enough to give us a lot of draft picks or high pick(s).

Fire Colbert. Bring in someone who knows talent and isn't riding the laurels of when he rode Cowher's jock.

Blow it all up and begin an urgent rebuild. If done right, we could be in the hunt in 2-3 years again.

    :roflmao:

I laugh at that notion. This team needs some tweaks and a chance to grow (on defense), not a complete rebuild. I am beginning to question Tomlin and LeBeau though (I guess these would be my tweaks). Part of the problem on D is youth, and part is Lebeau's schemes just don't fool anyone anymore. Oh and a little bit of not having the personnel to run LeBeau's scheme *cough* good D line *cough*
