The problem with the conservative run run run offense is that there is no margin for error on O. One mistake kills a drive and the defense just isn't good enough to get the ball back.

 

I'm not convinced he gets fooled as much as I think he gambles and in his prime days, he had the awareness and instinct to make it pan out more often than not. I feel like as he's aging now, he just doesn't have the sharpness to make those calls, so relying on that instead of just trying to cover his man causes real problems.
