    No playoffs. They may have a easy schedule on paper, but this team makes an easy schedule look like a hard one. Browns almost beat them at our house and we play them at there house this week. Not so easy now. 8-8 no playoffs for the next 2 years.

    I didn't realize that was Nebraska. :lolol:

    IIRC Hillbilly was banned from the old board for language. And that was right around the time the board started getting squirrelly. A lot of people couldn't join or post anymore. Sure do miss that guy. He didn't suck. ;)

    We tried a new one last year, during the gameday thread, someone posted something and auto correct changed it to something really funny, can't recall what but we said it the rest of that game but died a quick death since they lost :noose:

    Saw some old handles in that thread, Old School is Canton I believe and 4everh8odonnel said he was changing his name but dont know if he ever did or just stopped posting.

    Surprised Knox hasn't chimed in this season yet.

    That would be me. 86WardsWay sounded just a little less vengeful. I will always HATE O'Donnel though. I still refuse to believe that he did not throw S/B XXX. 52 players and an entire coaching staff played their hearts out that day and were in position to bring home another Lombardi. Neil O'donnel had other intentions. Didn't even fly home on the team plane. Took a J-E-T-S charter flight. SMH.

    Roethlisberger has never made the playoffs without a top 5 defense so no because this defense is middle of the pack.

    I waited till after the Browns game to vote, thinking it would be a make or break situation for them. It is clear to me now. Multiple chances at First and Goal on the ONE yard line, and they couldn't get it done. Very sad....

    I hope to eat crow with this post but making the playoffs is crazy from anyone watching this team. If we break down the season

    We are 1-2 in our division
    We just got humiliated by the last placed team in our division for the last 5 years
    We beat Jacksonville by 8 and they previously allowed 30 + points to teams
    We gave Tampa Bay their first win and they were humiliated by the Ravens
    Baltimore beat us worse than Cleveland

    We are not going to be in the playoffs and we may need to discuss who we will be drafting in the top 10.

    We haven't witnessed anything worse then going 0-4 last year, they rebounded from that to go 8-4.

    They come out and win convincingly next week, most of this board will be back to saying they'll make the playoffs.

    At the end of the day, they have 3 losses.

    No way. This team, regardless of record, is WORSE than that 0-4 start. No turnaround this year. And the sick thing is, it probably still won't be enough to do what OBVIOUS(LY) needs to be done.

    We're getting ready to drop 3 in a row. Maybe go 1-5 before the bye. This team has not shown for even 1 game they're capable of better.

    The only way we beat Houston is if they take us for granted, all have the flu, and we pay off some refs.

    Luck is going to have a field day against us.

    Are you kidding with this thread? This team is not making the playoffs. They will be lucky to win six or seven games. Best case scenario is that they get new "O" and "D" coordinators and a new GM. Tomlin will not get fired, although he should. The Roooneys will not admit that they made a mistake in hiring him. When he does get canned, he will be the next Herman Edwards on ESPN.
