Our #1 concern must be scoring the Football....To do so we must put scoring packages in the Redzone ....With CB Haden banged up the Browns will be helping in coverage whether he plays or not ..To exploit that we need to see the Pony backfield with multiple TE sets ..

The use of 2 or more TE'S combined with 2 RB's should give our Offense a fresh look with multiple run options as big as Blount is he can surely play FB ,this would give us the dive option to him the pitch or swing pass to Bell and Force the LB'S to play the TE'S 1 on 1 ..

I don't see how any Team can match up to this with Brown as the single WR ,,,just to much talent and spreads the D to thin ...Not sure if Haley is hiding this set for later or simply has allowed Ben to take over as OC ,but now is the time to use the guys most capable of scoring ...

    Absolutely, scoring is primary...

We can't say the ratbirds are guaranteed a win this weekend (but you would think so) and the bungles are going to have a fight so...

This weekends game is no doubt a must win and with the crowd against us it will certainly be a hostile environment.

Steelers play down to the opponent and are picked to win (the last I saw) so that concerns me. BUT.. our defense is beginning to look like they are gaining momentum...

Harrison is not well liked ( Colt McCoy and body slamming fans!! ) in Shintzy town and will be booed big time.. That will just play to our advantage.

They can't stop AB, won't get into Ben, and will not stop our D...

I wouldn't start messing around with new Offensive looks, just clean up whats already there.

There are so many back stories

Hope the key to this game is not a fake punt again, and be aware of the trick plays with Manzel acting as if he's on the sideline

Exactly what the thread is about ....lol... The Browns are not going to let us beat them in the Redzone with a bunch of 5'10 WR'S ...The simple fact they can't block well enough to run the ball and the speed is negated because the field gets so tight....

So how do you suggest we score those points ?

So, while I wouldn't mind seeing how the 22 personnel package you're suggesting works, I would like to see us try 12 personnel with Bryant and AB wide on opposite sides. That would force coverage wide, and Bryant's presence would at least get the attention of a 2nd defender who may need to provide help near the end line in the middle of the field. Bryant isn't ready to help much outside the red zone, but he's a mismatch and a half inside the 10.

I like your approach as well and I agree JB does have a huge advantage in the redzone ...Well fax this over to Coach Haley and to Ben gives them 2 approaches to help this Offense score points ...

TBH, I hope the Steelers don't overlook the Browns. They are a much improved team from the first game of the season. They just has an emotional win and will look to build momentum against their biggest rival. The Steelers need to bring their A game.

    Offense -
Stop the drive killing penalties (holding on first down, false start to get to 3rd and long, etc)
    Situational play calling must improve.
Utilize wideouts in the open field more.
10 carries for Bell in the first half.

    Defense
    Get pressure on the QB
Watch the unfavorable matchups where a LB is covering a wideout or a speedy tight end
    Limit the penalties
Press the LOS on 3rd down occasionally

    Special Teams
    Punt the ball effectively
Catch the ball when it is punted
