    Lets hear em.
I say yes. 9-7 will make the playoffs again this year and this team has a very soft schedule. I'll say they will finish 10-6 and win one, lose next in the playoffs. I'm skeptical about the playoff win though as any playoff caliber QB will probably carve the Steelers secondary like a well roasted Thanksgiving day turkey.

Hope you don't mind '86, added a poll to this :smiley1:

I think they will make it, there's not a lot of powerhouse teams, we should get in as a wild card at least. We have Ben which gives us an edge over some of the other teams vying for a spot.

We lost to the Bucs, struggled with the Jags, and I have a bad feeling about the Browns game. If we lose 2 out of those 3, I don't see how we make it unless we catch every break imaginable.

I say we beat browns and Texans and finish 11-5 win division. not sure about tie breakers with cincy if we split but I think we win it.

Looking at the remaining games, I'm thinking we're going to go 7-9 and miss the playoffs. I haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise.

The playoffs are often about who's hot at the end of the football season, provided that team didn't already lose too many games early on for it to be too late.

Last year, the Steelers started out horribly. By the last several games, things were much more in sync, but it was just too late at that point for it to matter. I'm hopeful that this year they'll get to the point of being one of the hot teams toward the end of the season, and have a decent enough early/mid season run to make it relevant.

I thought that same thing when they blew it, type of loss that kills them at the end of the year. Hoping this one doesn't.

No way we make the playoffs. This team is terrible. Tampa Bay , Jaguars and the loss against the Browns ( this coming Sunday)

We don't deserve playoffs and if by some chance/miracle we sniff the playoffs we will lose out in first round

Alright, if you're making me vote NOW, I'll have to say no. I see another year wasting away again in Mediocreville. While I'm happy about the win, I saw two below average teams playing football yesterday and somebody had to come out on top. We're a .500 team and so far we're true to form, W-L-W-L-W... I expect we'll follow this pattern most of the season and finish around .500 again. We may be 7-9 and, if things break the Steelers' way, we could be 9-7 and sneak in. I just don't see much to get excited about this season. In the end, I think we're on the outside looking in for the third consecutive season.

I was thinking 8-8 until yesterday's game. Now I'm thinking 7-9. We aren't very good.

No. This still looks like an 8-8 team. More experience for the young guys and a couple of CB's in the draft and the team will improve.
