A very unimpressive win today

So the Steelers barely beat a team who is equivalent to a junior varsity college team today
Win is a win but I was not impressed this team still has a long road ahead of them
If we want to compete with the elite teams in the AFC
we have to start playing more dominant on offense and defense

 

TTF, please let me have just a one sentence reply to this without getting banned?

 

There was a point tonight that I actually had to look up the score as I had forgot they won!

 

Today, as we were in the victory formation, Wilcotts said "the great thing about Steelers fans is they always realize a win is a win and never talk about ugly wins" or something like that. I then said "Wilcotts OBVIOUSLY doesn't follow this board!" Then Bobby got on to post the exact same thing right after I got done with mine. LOL! Nobody wants to see how the sausage is made.

 

Isn't this what this message board is for the talk about Steelers I'm just stating my observation of today's game

 

He was probably talking about the fair weathered Steeler fans. That haven't taken note that we finished 8-8 last two years in a row

 

Yeah I'm totally fine with your right to point out all the things that you want. I was just saying that we generally see more of the cloud than the silver lining. Don't get me wrong. We've got deficiencies. I just thought it was funny that Wilcotts was saying that because we all know that we pick things apart as fans as bad as any fanbase does.

The next two games are huge A lot will be answered on how we are going to finish the season

They won today AND scored on all three phases right? But yeah you know they are gonna make it to the playoffs and lose in the first round.

You're all blind! Pittsburgh is the best team in the NFL right now. They're just toying around and playing down to their opponents. Steelers are just getting warmed up Ben, Bell, Blount, Brown is the killer Bee's ready to sting the NFL just have patience....

What he said was mostly true, but I've pretty much determined that if the Steelers win I'm not going to be too critical. The Jags are not a JV team, they are an NFL team. Not every win will be an impressive win. The story of this season is still very much unwritten.

The way we struggled with Tampa and Jacksonville in back to back weeks is a strong indication that we're in for another 8-8 season ... and maybe worse.

well tampa played well today in new Orleans. so maybe they aint THAT bad. I have learned over the years when u get a road win in the nfl be thankful and I am. that is why I am not gonna overreact or destroy the effort today. we won and I am happy for another week. I had us at 3-2 at this point so the way I see it.....10-6 is still possible

 

And the way it looks now, we'll only be one game out of first after tonight.
