What Did You Think Of How Tomlin Handled Lance Moore?

I LOVED IT! I actually said so in the game thread. I was REALLY proud of him for that.

 

Would like to see more of that!

REALLY? I honestly can't think of anyone that would think Tomlin shouldn't have let him have it. But of course there's always that "ONE guy". LOL.

Yeah if you check the game thread you will see that as soon as it happened I was telling you to do it. I know you are "into" that sorta thing.

 

I wouldn't say great ... only because IMO the coaches (Haley? Tomlin?) are at least in part responsible for the frustration Moore displayed. Maybe they have good reason to dick around with Moore, but I'm not aware of any. He's pissed and he should be. Tomlin had no choice but to get in his face though.

 

Apparently they don't think he can block as good as JB and that's why he hasn't been getting as much time. Haley's plays seem heavily predicated on WRs blocking. He got a shot and then made a complete idiot of himself and ESPECIALLY if he was directing his frustration at the coaches. I didn't think he spiked it maliciously though. I just thought he did it out of excitement. Regardless he could have really cost the team and under the present context of stupid penalties it was a dumb thing to do. He deserved what he got but I would like to see him get more playing time though. He has good hands.

 

I found it funny that the one time Tomlin gets in someones face and its one of the smallest guys on the team. Do you think Tomlin is afraid to get in the bigger guys face?? Just a thought, I dont mind what Tomlin did, Moore needed to be reprimanded in that situation, but it was funny that he chose to jump on the little guy.

I didn't watch the game yesterday, and I keep seeing people talk about Moore. What exactly did he do that was so bad? And, what was Tomlin's reaction?

 

At least Moore's spike wasn't as bad as Plaxico's turnover spike.

 

HE made a catch for a first down (I think it was on 3rd down) and was fired up and sort of spiked the ball - drew a 15 yard penalty.

 

I am not the biggest Tomlin supporter but if he could see fit to change his style to be a bit more like this it couldn't hurt.

I believe he did the right thing. Now will Moore say he didn't know it was a violation? No one can lay this on Coach T, since the week had been spent with the refs.
