Bucs Post-Game Loss Complaint Thread

THIS is EXACTLY what I have thought ALL DAY!!! Beachum is GARRRRRBAGE and Gilbert isn't much better. EVERY linemen played a crappy game today and most had a penalty as well. We are just HORRIBLE and they dang signed Gilbert to a long term deal!!!! I wouldn't blame Ben for leaving! He might get killed if he doesn't!

 

I actually feel like this team has no chance to be good until week 10 or so when it's too late to reach the playoffs. I'd say oh well let's get a high draft pick, but I don't have any faith that we'd use it wisely. Shazier and Jones have both given us nothing so far and frankly I'm not sure they ever will be as impactful as first rounders need to be. I don't like where the franchise is headed and we only have a franchise QB for a limited time.

Big deep breath... upon further review, if AB makes a catch on the flee flicker (that he makes nine out of ten times) we are 3-1.

You are implying that the only job of the defensive line is to stop the run. The more important role is to help apply pressure to the QB so that mistakes and turnovers happen, and timing is thrown off. No pressure allows QBs to be able to do whatever they want to do. There is a reason we always make bad QBs look like all-pros when we play them, and it is because we get no pressure on them.

LBs are at fault too for pressure, but the lines job is to create holes for the LBs to penetrate. Unfortunately, rarely do offenses need to assign two bodies to block any of our linemen. For this reason, the defensive line is the main reason we cannot apply pressure.

Ravens fired their SB winning team and are better for it and these issues span many more than 4 games. Miserably failed argument, go ahead and give it another shot

Maybe not a reason but it does seem that the team started rolling downhill when Art II took over.

 

I can't we should be speechless . we all have seen this before( more times than not ) so none of us should be surprised.

I didn't feel like reading or posting anything after that debacle, but at the same time, I needed to sit down for a minute and read through some posts here to make me feel like I'm not alone in feeling angry/sick/frustrated/sad all at the same time.

 

I am speechless like many of us are. I'm not going to defend any person or persons in this game. We are just a bad football team.

-Lebeau 56 seasons in the NFL; Whoever was there offensive coordinator; 1 Season.
-I use to like having our defense on the field. Not anymore.

Actually it does seem this is true.

 

That's nothing new. I've been asking that question for years.

I'm guessing they'd say that they didn't want to risk a pick 6, but at that point in the game, it wasn't time to play cautious.

 

I know... and if you're going to run, run Blount in that position.
