We are just poorly coached. Look at all the stupid penalties for dumb celebrations and unsportsmanlike. We are just incredibly stupid. AB, for all his physical skills, is a complete mental liability and Tomlin can't get that crap under control. Notice that Bell was flagged for taunting and the VERY NEXT PLAY he gets up and does the SAME EXACT THING again! Tell me that is anything but a team that has no discipline from a coaching perspective. We have ZERO sense of urgency. I mean Z-E-R-O! 0! If Worilds sacks Glennon on that play we MIGHT have held on but he just can't seal the deal. We deserve to lose and if this gets some people on the hotseat I don't care.

Why wasn't Blount in there during that last possession? Didn't we get him to help close out games?

 

Horrible secondary. Nothing new there. 30 total flags thrown. 17 against us. A few of them were even correct!

As a side note...the Bell penalty was not because of his first down hand motion...it was because of what he said in front of the official who flagged him.

Tomlin also said "Thats one bad motherf**ker" after that one nice 3rd down catch and run by Bell...someones mic on/near the sideline picked him up saying it, hahaha.

I've been a lurker for a long time, content to just read the threads but was compelled to register and post after this. I am SO disgusted right now, I can't even put it into words. I'm never a "blame the coaches" kind of fan as I believe these are grown men being paid a LOT of money to play a game, but I believe that this game falls on the coaches lap far more than the players. Can someone explain to me why on 3rd and 5, needing a 1st to put this game away the call is a run up the middle rather than putting it into Ben's hands? Had it been 3rd and 10 or more, sure a run makes sense, but 5 yards??

Damn I'm pissed right now.

I told a guy this week at work that we would lose because TB is horrible. I was right.

 

Worilds is absolute junk. Can't believe we are paying him $9.8 million. We sure guessed wrong on him. He is going against scrub right tackles and never even generates pressure. Cam Thomas is garbage and so is Mitchell. All the moves we've made have been terrible. Maybe it's time to really look at the front office as much as the players and coaches.
