Thanks Thigpen! Much appreciated! Where do you see the biggest area for improvement on the squad right now?

 

I'll be interested to see how much we miss Ike Taylor. This is the opportunity for a guy like Blake to step up and show that we don't need to pick a DB high in the draft. If that step up doesn't happen, then the biggest area is our CBs, straight up.

 

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Blake to step up, they still need CB help in the worst way.

 

Aye, I think you're right. I guess I'm intrigued as to whether the team were confident that an improved front 7 would do the job, with their existing DB corps complimenting them (i.e. they saw something in Blake, Richardson etc. that led them away from picking a DB higher). Lake has been pretty high on some of our back ups, so we'll see. But I suspect we'll be disappointed.
