I always liked James...hopefully he still has IT...and can bring it. Hopefully he rotates with Moats also and its not full time (unless he clearly shows he can do it still/etc)

I was figuring Moats to be the odd man out. IF this is gonna be the case what was the point of even getting the guy? I mean as soon as someone goes down you call an old horse and don't give a guy a chance that you signed in the offseason? Just seems a little weird to me. I'm not saying I'm down on getting JH back. I just feel sorry for TTF in trying to maintain the site and not knowing what to do with all these "James Harrison is retiring/coming back" threads. LOL.

Hey!!! now your calling my man an old horse what's up???? :lolol: Don't worry Moats will have plenty playing time..Harrison's comeback is an insurance policy for depth! Unless Moats turns out as a total bust ..though he looked fairly good Sunday we just need to see more! Don't forget JJ he's still a Steeler.;)

Exactly. I don't get the angst, it's not like they brought him back with a healthy roster, we all knew that an injury would most likely get his phone ringing.

I don't mind the signing. I'm just curious if this says a little something about Moats. We've barely heard anything from him all year until last night. He did seem to look pretty good last night though.

Doesn't say anything about Moats, says they aren't comfortable bringing somebody up from the PS.

I'm stoked. His last year here he really turned it up towards the end of the season, seemed to be getting back to being disruptive. He was in cinci last year but his heart wasn't in it. I'll never forget the interview last year where they asked him about Lebeau and he got emotional. Welcome back Debo!!!

Ray and i touched on the PS scenario's earlier today, James did enter my mind but didn't stick due to his retirement. Agree, at this point the org. was not compfy with what we have in the wings.

I have to admit, this has me a little excited, but cautiously so.

Don't get me wrong, I love JH and was a big fan of his, I'm just not sure he's still got what the Steelers need right now. Let's hope I'm wrong on that, cause I'd love to seem him do well and really contribute.

Well, seems a better decision than trying to bring back Joey Porter. That chest-bump from Heyward almost sent him to the hospital.

Older but still in pretty good shape, knows the system and can be a kind of player/coach.

Porter? Absolutely... Harrison? Not so much. I don't recall him being the animated or vocal type.

This load in Joe Flacco's pants is brought to you by Silverback and his comeback tour, next stop Johnny Football's muddhole stompin party.

In the words of Jim Ross, "Business is about to pick up" "My Gawd he has broken him in half."
