The last three to four years I have seen the Steelers come out flat and what looked to be unprepared in too many games. Getting beat by teams with bad records and second rate QB's. Why does this stuff happen? Who's responsibility is it to make sure things like this doesn't happen? I would think the coach. Next week we play a mediocre Tampa team with a second rate QB at home. We should win by 20 points. Will we?

Hard to stay competitive when you have two teams drawing from your talent pool.

WHat has led to two 8-8 seasons is a team that's rebuilding. Tomlin has his warts, but he's still a very good coach. I'm pretty sure 99.9% of Steeler fans couldn't noticed an adjustment if Madden drew it up on a teleprompter.

You make some excellent points. I see the Steelers in a similar light in regards to the current roster and team woes. It's pretty much been the perfect storm of misfortune.... and they still haven't had a losing season. :lolol:
