    There's never an excuse for this. Not saying these guys don't have stress from their jobs. I mean they are constantly under scrutiny and the public eye and praised when they do well and scorned when they have a bad game... But I have friends and family members who work hard, and barely can make ends meet and struggle to provide for their families and they don't go home beating their significant others or their children because of the stress they have. These guys get paid handsomely to play a sport. That report said Dwyer threw a shoe at his 18 month old kid too! What's wrong with people? He had intent to harm a child that young? And caused a fracture of some sort to his wife.. Disgusting. Glad he's not on our team any more

    The Ray Rice video has changed the NFL forever. If not for that video, Adrian Peterson is still playing, Greg Hardy is still playing, etc. The NFL would have overlooked all those things. After that Rice video and the backlash from it, the NFL will never again be able to turn a blind eye to this stuff

    I'm still waiting for one of these former players that are spouting off to whatever microphone they can get and condemning Peterson, to have one of their children use the power of social media to say "ummm but Dad you beat my #expletive# all the time" Sunday was a study in hypocrisy to me. Listening to Ray Lewis talk about the difference between getting spanked or paddled or whooped and what Peterson did. Next thing you know he will be teaching a class on how to get away with murder.

    Well maybe this will help fan the anti-emperor flames. Dwyer is a complete moron and he is also a bum. Remember how Tomlin never seemed to like him? Maybe he knew some things about him that we didn't? I think with these wife beaters just now being exposed doesn't mean that they haven't been doing this all along. Would anyone really be surprised to find out that Rice had hit his girlfriend before? Would anyone be surprised to find out Dwyer has done it before too? I wouldn't.
