Gilbert in particular should get sued for malpractice last night. On all 3 of those plays he got beat badly. He was as bad last night as Mike Adams was vs the Vikings last season.

I can't believe that we keep overpaying these players that can't play the game. Most of us realized a while ago that gilbert was terrible, yet we paid him anyway. Makes no sense.

You have to pay someone. You can't just keep letting your draft picks walk at the end of their rookie deals.

If they are terrible, then yes, you do let them walk. You don't give a terrible player a bunch of money just because you have to pay someone. May as well throw in a guy from the practice squad, can't be any worse

Gilberts never been as terrible as people claim, just inconsistent. He seemed to be adapting very well to Munchaks coaching but has taken a step back since the season has started. I think it will work itself out.

I saw Gilbert play his first regular season game and was appalled at our horrible he was. I feel exactly the same now as I did then - but let's give him a contract extension. One for Cortez Allen, too, while we are at it.

I agree that Gilbert was the glaring problem on the OL, but I thought everyone else did their job good enough. I'm not so sure Adams wouldn't be a better fit there. Besides, Adams strong suite seems to be at RT. Probably can't be any worse than how Gilbert looked last night. Then again......

I also think we have big issues at CB and even on the DL. But usually these two positions compliment each other so who's really the issue? Is it that since the DL isn't getting pressure on the QB it's leaving our CB's vulnerable or is it that our CB's aren't doing a good enough job covering that our DL doesn't have a chance to apply pressure? Then again it's basically the DL's job to occupy bodies and space so that our LB's can create pressure. None of this is happening.

I think there's plenty of blame to go around for the terrible performance we saw last night.

He struggles EVERY game. I just don't get the philosophy here. He has proven NOTHING, but let's extend him? Is he at all better than Ike? If he is, I have yet to see it.

Well, you can pay your Ziggy Hoods, or you can pay someone else's Cam Thomas.

I liked TTF's idea of bringing Adams in as an extra TE as we did at times last season. That should help us play downhill and knock some people on their butts.

Honestly, I don't like our interior line as well. The Ravens have had an above average stout interior line for years.

Pouncey is undersized, and Foster is extremely limited.

Some of the o line's problems of the last couple of years may be rooted in the D. They "practice" and these suck a$$ starters look golden against our suck a$$ D line. So we think we have our starting line ups until we face the real games and real talent then it's panic mode. Somewhere in this crap factory is a pos.

Dumerville's second sack was painful to watch. I'm glad Gilbert had a nice seat from which to view it.

Really Gilbert!?! What the "F"???

We are trying too hard too fit guys into an imaginary "scheme" or fix one very specific problem rather than ask the simple question:

"Can this player line up and beat the guy across from him?"

We lose so many one-on-one battles during games it's sickening. The only way we succeed is by having the perfect play call that generates a big schematic advantage.

Our OLB can't even beat TE's one-on-one (I saw Worilds blocked out on run plays numerous times last night by Owen Daniels). Zuttah looked like Dwight Stephenson vs. Cam Thomas. The CB's can't stick with anyone longer than 2 seconds unless they are clutching and grabbing.

We've lost sight of what DEFINES a good football player and are misguided by effort or speed or whatever the flavor of the month is in our scouting department.

I agree and I would add we need Bigger and Stronger guys in all our weaker spots. Heck we don't even have any speed at CB. They are short slow and weak so what do we expect them to do besides hold.

Pay attention to the final replay in the 3rd video. Gilbert gets absolutely frickin' DESTROYED!!!! He looked like a damn ragdoll getting blown back like he did. Dumervil is 5'11", 255lbs...Gilbert is 6'6" 330....

    smfh...
